Roma management are seriously naive.

Sure Zeman had issues with a few players whether tactical or personal but the man deserved a season. It's not like Roma have suddenly captured a Mourinho or Capello.

There isn't a fix-it coach around. If they're giving it to this assistant coach it makes you wonder why Montella wasn't kept on. Truly a showing of incompetence IMHO.

This Project Roma are going for requires faith in coaching staff and not reacting ala Zamperini.

Wonder what will happen to Stekelburg's position in the team now. Hope the new coach will give him back his starting eleven spot. Goicoechea hasn't exactly been bossing it.

Anyway, with Zeman it was attractive to watch. Would've been better to attend to the defensive issues than sacking another manager.

To Madvillain's point, Aurelio Andreazzoli, who was Spaletti's number 2 originally, is already ringing in the changes. Daniele de Rossi will return to the XI and the 4-3-3 will be scrapped in favor of Spaletti's beloved 4-2-3-1 with Piris to be dropped in favor of Torosidis, DDR and Bradley as pivots behind a 3 of Totti, Lamela, and Pjanic who will support either Osvaldo or Destro.

Who will the new CB pair be? The preferred GK?

Not at all sure who the CBs will be. I would not be surprised to see Burdisso return to the fore though with either Castan or Marquinhos to lose out.

Given Goico's poor form, Stek is a lock to be given his starting spot back.

Defence... This has got to be frustrating as hell.
