About the several clean sheets the team kept despite key defenders such as Pepe and Sergio Ramos missing matches, and whether he and Albiol are happy to achieve that:

About what he thinks of Diego López:

I don't know him much, but what matters is that he can help the team as much as possible. That's what we want.

About whether they've been discussing the possibility of Cristiano leaving and how that would affect the team:

We know how important Cristiano is to the team. We didn't talk about it, but he's obviously a key player so it would be a big change.

About the relationship with Mourinho:

We all support the Míster, he's the best coach in the world. I think the press is tough on him, he's doing a good job and it's not necessary to be so tough on him.

About which defender he's learnt the most from:

They all help me, I learn a lot from them, and the fact that I get to play and train with them makes me proud. Being on such a great team with such great players is the best.

About what worries him the most about tomorrow's match:

We don't want to lose more points, we want to win as usual, it's a Liga match and we want to keep improving on all aspects of the team.

About him probably being on the starting XI against Barça and how he feels about it:

I don't know if I'll play but I'm ready. A Clásico is always special, but right now we're not thinking about that, we're thinking about the Getafe match, not the next qualifying round.

About whether they did anything special to celebrate Mourinho's birthday:

We didn't do anything special. We signed a picture of last year's match against Osasuna, when we became champions, and that's it.

About how different it is for the defenders when such a key goal keeper like Iker is injured:

It's different, but we want to do our best, and since we're a team, all the players can do their best. But of course, losing a starter such as Iker can destabilize, but I don't think it will make a big difference.

About his future with the French NT and his objectives in general:

I think right now I need to focus on one game at a time, I don't have special goals, I just want to improve with the team.

About the team and how the current situation affected their relationship, unity...:

When the going gets tough, you have to stick together. We try to improve our results and we are all going into the same direction and I'm sure we'll get back into a positive dynamics.

I expect a few changes but not too much, this would be my line up for tomorrow's match.

Ozil absolutely brillent, magical stuff. On his current form, he will fek barca off to a trashing hopefully.

Coentrao has been Amazing too.

You guys really miss Khedira in midfield,when you play against deeper defenses that you have to break down Khedira provides vertical movement from midfield combined with a great engine,basically he is a very good box to box midfielder and you have nobody else in your squad who can do what he does.

Just watch Modric and Essien they are both far to static in the middle of midfield and aren't really joining in the attack.Most of the 1st half it's just been Real Madrid front 4 against 7 or 8 Getafe players.

Ozils had a good game though.

Also good possession play in the first half. Modric and Ozil have done well.

Ozil on his current form will rape Alba/Adriano considering he will play on the wing.

Modric weren't attacking enough though,way too static for me and when he does go forward his movement and positioning isn't that good.Plus he doesn't have Khedira's physicality and he isn't as effective at pressurizing the opposition high up the pitch to stop the opposition playing it out from the back.

It's not a coincidence that it was 0 - 0 at half time and when Khedira come on you are winning 4 - 0.Modric is better sitting deeper like Alonso and Khedira is easily the best at adding "drive" as I call it in midfield.

CM's don't always need to attack. Essien was the pure DM and Modric was the CM.

Agreed worms. Khedira is our best midfielder after Xabi imo.

Anyway, missed this game becouse I wasn't aware it starts this early Just woke up, smh.

Looks like we played great though. So that's good to know. I have a feeling we will draw vs Barca... But I could see us lose. We're most likely gonna lose atleast once vs. Barca this season, and I could see us losing La Liga clasico but drawing the Copa one.

I know,what I am saying is that Modric is much better as a CM who plays deep and controls the tempo.While Khedira is much better playing as a box to box midfielder who provides "drive" from midfield.

I am not blaming Modric,I rate him as a very good player,it was not his fault he was picked alongside Essien against a team who defended deep and in numbers.

Because Getafe were defending deep today Khediras runs into the box and high pressing was missed in midfield in the first half,Jose seen this too and the change worked.In the first half there was often only 4 Madrid players around their box when they had 8 men defending,in the 2nd half Khedira provided an extra outlet and Getafe found it harder to defend.

Ronaldo does it again with his perfect hat-trick today he becomes the record holder for the most hat-tricks EVER the history of la liga, legend!!!!

Absolutely thrilled Real Madrid hammered Getafe, another slap in the face of Marca and the prophets of doom. Perfect second half and great all round game with a few players getting valuable rest. On to beating Barcelona on Wednesday.
