Balotelli is so great he only gives title winning assists.

Jealous of what exactly? A striker who gets sent off, is less prolific than your average CB as of late, gets next to no assists and somehow single-handedly gathers a sh*tstorm of fights, bad publicity and fines at whichever club he goes to.

Not to mention he is back in his home country with his family and national teammates, who are always there for support

1 in 14 would start for Juventus with ease
We'll see what a motivated Balotelli can do, I don't have doubts about him for Milan but I am biased as I am a fan of his so naturally I want to see him succeed

I like Balotelli, seriously, i mean i was more than happy when inter received 30m for him, and just when i thought it couldnt get better Milan coughed up 20m to sign him. That is a great player in my books.
Trolling aside, I do hope that Balo succeeds for Italy and Serie A, but unless the Milan "family" can get to him (and as pointed out before they do have a good record) i dont see him ever living living up to his hype/cost

Re: Serie A - race for UCL places
neither of Juve or Napoli should be able to lose the current points advantage. Lazio has certainly played well enough to deserve it, but might crumble with a thin squad. Roma will not get there with Zeman. Fiorentina's form seems too poor for a challenge. So Inter, Milan or Lazio for 3rd. I am guessing Inter unfortunately.

true, it might be that he must play for a smaller team like toto di natale, with less pressure etc

Meelan took a major step by signing Balo..for 20 million it is a very good deal.
Re: Serie A - race for UCL places
Roma v Cagliari preview.
Roma have had a troubling week and their poor league form has seen them dropped to eight spot in Serie A, three points off a Europa League qualification spot. They have managed just one win in their last six Serie A matches, there were rumours that Zdenek Zeman could be on his way out of the side.Roma seems uncapable to fight for UCL places at the moment.
No doubt that Roma have been plagued by imbalance as well as inconsistency on the pitch this season and it was shown by the 3-3 draw with Bologna last weekend. Despite scoring goals, they also conceded silly schoolboy errors in defence, fact which makes me think that Zeman's position will be reviewed after this match. Rumoured to have been asked to reintroduce Maarten Stekelenburg and Daniele De Rossi to the starting eleven, Zeman's irritation at the press coverage he has called will now be looked at closely when he names his starting lineup tonight.
Cagliari meanwhile are unbeaten in their last three matches and collected five points from their last three games saw them improved on their previous seven-week decline in League position. However, even though there was much to cheer in the draw against fellow relegation candidates Palermo, it was also seen as a missed chance to get all three points. They had twice as many attempts at goal but they failed to convert their chances and couldn't produce more goals.
For the record, the last nine Serie A meetings home and away between Roma and Cagliari have averaged just over four goals a game. So we can expect to see plenty of goals here.
Possible line-ups :
I'd like to see Dodo in the first XI.
Roma : Stekelenburg; Piris, Burdisso, Castan, Dodo; Bradley, Tachtsidis, Florenzi; Lamela, Osvaldo, Totti
Cagiari: Agazzi; Pisano, Astori, Rossettini, Avelar; Dessena, Conti, Ekdal; Nainggolan; Sau, Ibarbo
I can't wait to watch Astori. The guy had some outstanding games this season, especially that one against Juventus.

And Lazio dropped points too. Who would've thought we'd be only a game off 3rd spot this early in the season after our awful start?

Lazio can gtfo of the top 3. They will flop Europe hard, Napoli i can see them progressing to the later rounds along with Juve. We must get that 3rd spot no matter what

Re: Serie A - race for UCL places
Serie A is the most interesting league right now...
All the good teams are performing except roma...
The title race & champions League spots is very close & all could go down to the wire....
Players like Balotelli is who we need back in the league...
Milan has really turned their season around & to tell the truth, I think they can beat Barca.
Not just the title race but the relegation battle is heating up...
2 teams in the bottom 3 won 2 teams from the top 5 this weekend

I think thats taking it too far
Unless Bonera and Antonini transform into Baresi and Maldini like last year, i expect Barca to give us an ass-whoopin'. Not to mention they have the best RB in the world and SES will have a hard time against him. Dont even get me started on their God tier midfield.
As i said the 2 legs' fate will rest within one person, BT #12

This is why i like Dost's 6-4-0
Abate---MDS---Mexes---Bonera--Zapata--Constant--Antonini
---------Flamini-----Ambrosini----Traore---Muntari
Traore will be given a free role, able to roam anywhere

Napoli and Lazio tied, if we win tomorrow we'll be 1 point away from 3rd
Fio lost, at least that'll make catching up to us harder.
