Re: Serie A - race for UCL places
It's not even about "far-left" and "far-right". It's about humane and inhumane.
Lazio fans are saying that people should be exterminated based on their race or religion. There's no excuses for that. That's too "far-gone" to make any sense. It is senseless. How can you not be completely disgusted by them?

Some questionable refereeing decisions in the game which really killed the game off earlier than expected.I dont think anyone can stop them from claiming 3rd spot now.

Re: Serie A - race for UCL places
I like Lazio and their fabolous fans very much. But for the good of Italy's coeffecient ranking, it best we send out strongest teams to Europe, and in this instance Milan is more preferable to attain the CL place ahead of the great Lazio.
I want f*cking Napoli to drop out of the CL places for shame they did EL. Heck, I would rather Inter to put their house in order and get the last CL qualifying place.
Juve,
Milan,
Inter.
Having said that, Italy to do the double and win both CL and EL this season

So what if they are far-left,far right.I get his point, when their stadium is full,it is a great atmosphere.
The Rome derby is arguebly one of Europe's most passionate, with only 5 League titles between them, winning the derbies has more importance.

Re: Serie A - race for UCL places
Serie A deserves 4 CL places,having only 3 is a crime!!!!!
1. Juventus will win title number 31
2. Napoli will qualify for their 2nd CL campaign
3. Milan will make the top 3 for the 3rd time under Allegri

Serie A doesn't deserve squat until they start winning in Europe. Its been 14 years since Serie A has produced a Europa League/Cup winner, a competition which the league used to dominate.

Juve, Milan, Roma would be best for Serie A, or Inter. These clubs have the fanbase and ambition to succeed. Likes of Viola, Lazio and Napoli have only local support and dont take Europe too seriously.
Juve is a top european side, Milan is legendary and Roma has a great long-term project. Thats what Italy and Serie A need.

Re: Serie A - race for UCL places
Things are about to get nutty in the next 2 months for Roma, Fiorentina, Udinese and Catania, who are all still in the race for CL and EL spots.
We take on Udinese at their fortress tomorrow. It's a straight up 6 pointer since they have been great at home while we have the 4th best away record in the league. Anything can happen there.
Believe it or not, we actually need Lazio to do us a solid and beat Fiorentina this weekend. It would be great if they did this, but if they lost to La Viola, I'd still grin in satisfaction anyway
And then there's Juve at home to Catania. Given how they choked against Inter and how Juve have been swatting everyone else out of their way since they lost to us, I expect a Catania loss here, which bodes well for Roma.
Just above us, Inter have Bologna. I'm a big fan of Stefano Pioli so I hope Bologna can at least take a point off them as us winning at Udinese would see us go above them.
And that's just this weekend. Serie A CL/EL race

Don't forget that Milan face Genoa away today, Genoa have 1 loss at home this season and with the upcoming fixture against Barca, we're gonna have to rest some of our players. Kucka is suspended for this match (ty Roma) at least thats a plus for us. I'd be content if we managed to draw. pls go easy on us Bertolacci

Re: Serie A - race for UCL places
I think Lazio finally deserve a chance in the CL as they are proving themselves serious in Europe this year. I hope its
1) Juve
2) Milan
3) Lazio
4) Napoli
5) Inter
6)Fiorentina
But, Roma will win the Coppa Italia and knock Fiorentina off of a European spot

Re: Serie A - race for UCL places
Either Lazio or Inter won't make Europe next season. Roma for the Coppa and Fiorentina to finish 5th.

Milan keep 3rd for another week by beating Genoa 0-2. Now let's hope Inter and Lazio slip up.

And lo and behold, Inter downed by Bologna 1-0 and Lazio beaten by Fiorentina 2-0. Everything keeps playing into our hands.Forza Rossoneri wrote:Milan keep 3rd for another week by beating Genoa 0-2. Now let's hope Inter and Lazio slip up.

i hope it finishes like this juve 1. milan 2. fiorentina/napoli 3rd inter will be rubbish again next year and embarres serie a,lazio will be satisfied with their squad and not look to buy( despite having a billionare president lo - tight ass). fiorentina play brilliant football and napoli have a deceant squad, they would do serie a proud in the champions league.

If Viola make CL they will surely keep JoJo, Giuseppe Rossi will be healthy and Della Valle will definitely invest on defense and squad depth.

Re: Serie A - race for UCL places
I hope Fio makes CL. They deserve it more than Inter, Napoli, etc. Lazio is another option. They are one of the few Italian teams (if not the only) to try to make a go of the EL and compete in the title race too.

I hope its Fiorentina getting the third spot. They have a very exciting team and they will put up a solid fight. Inter are crumbling, Napoli is embarrassing, Lazio is another option to make the third spot, but Fio would be my first pick. Jojo and Rossi

as a juve fan i hope jovetic comes to us . rossi-toni that's not that bad as long as they keep their core of mids and defenders they would still be a threat without jojo. napoli wouldn't be bad in the champions league as long as they can find a replacement for cavani and invest in depth( let's face it cavani is going)
