Isco vs Gotze

Both almost same type of players. Isco has really impressed me yesterday, the way he controlled the ball in tight areas and dribbled through madrid players over and over.

What do you guys think?

2) Götze, Götze, Götze, Götze, as with all X v Götze threads: Götze. Hands down.

Gotze. Better at every aspect of the game IMO. Isco will be world-class for sure and one of the best AMs/CMs in 3-4 years... but Gotze will be the best in the world.

You're making it look as though there's no competition between the two.He's carrying Malaga on his back right now.

He isn't carrying anyone. He's the most important player, but the team is a true team.

I dont know why all this hype about gotze, "become the best in the world" really, not going to happen unless messi returns to his home planet. even if he does, neymar will have more chances of winning this.

I made this topic cuz i watched gotze and isco play against madrid, and i was more impressed with isco. gotze was ok too, but isco totally drove our defence insane.

Anyone point out in which way gotze is better, more trickery?

Neymar better than Gotze ? Gotze torments CL and Bundesliga defences and Neymar dives every match in the Brasilian league ...

lol is that it. neymar also contributes with 31 goals and 15 assists from 39 matches.

Isco was Malaga's absolute worst player vs Dortmund in the 2nd leg. I couldn't care less - he's 20 and he's being defended by multiple people. Who cares really, 20 years old and you're judging him on performances in big games? that's wrong.

I have not seen that many games from Götze, while Isco is one of my favorite players to watch so I am pretty biased..

Rubbish.... he was very good against Madrid, City and Shakhtar plus Bayern in the league too.

Even against Malaga he was good in general play but his finishing was crap.

Isco played 3 times vs. Barça last season and did absolutely nothing.
He played vs Madrid and in the CL though.

People overrate Gotze sometimes, he wasnt a highlight on dortmund's campaign.He almost single handly took Borussia out of CL after missing about 50 chances vs Malaga.Reus,Gundogan,Lewandowski,Subotic..those are the players that really took dortmund to the next level.
Im not saying they are worse players than Gotze, I just dont think he deserves the credit he gets on his CL performances.

I believe that Gotze is amazing and ahead of Isco but some people seem to think that he is a goat player when he isnt.IMO he is the 3rd best youngster out there after Hazard and Neymar, not #1.

I will answer this question in the summer of '14. After all of Gotze, Isco, and Neymar complete their first seasons for their new clubs.

Gotze is better than Neymar. Isco is on the same level with Hazard, same with Oscar, Lucas, SES. Let's see how they perform at the WC, and then compare.
