I really think this should be tried more often in my opinion..His positioning is great as it is and it could also allow to accommodate Isla into the lineup who i believe with more games is only going to get better in my opinion.

Plus the fact that Chiellini is out injured for a substantial period could perhaps allow us to tweak our backline a little ?I mean how about a Licht-Bonucci-Barzagli back 3 ? considering bar Chiellini they are our 3 best defenders in the team ..I like Caceres but i think he's better suited to the FB/WB position than CB imho.

I would consiter Padoin as CB
