Oh wow awful news. I thought this was some joke thread but seems like it's serious. Wish him a quick recovery. Would be devastating for him if he had to step down.

That's just not important ATM. Cancer is most definitely a bitch and I really hope he can recover, never mind Barca for a moment. Anims TitoArt Morte wrote:Sad news and from a football perspective suddenly hangs a big question mark over Barcelona.

Re: Tito Vilanova has had a relapse
A number of Real Madrid players have added their voices in a personal capacity to the best wishes the club sent to Tito Vilanova after the revelation earlier today, Wednesday, that the Barcelona coach has suffered a cancer relapse. Sending him "strength" from "all of the football family", they backed him to win "this match".
"Tito, you can get through this, we are all sending you our strength, everyone from within football and without. You couldn't have a better team. There's no way you're going to lose this match", the Real Madrid captain and goalkeeper Iker Casillas posted on his Facebook account.
Sergio Ramos was another to add to the outpouring of support: "All the best to Tito Vilanova and his loved ones from all the football family. A big hug from the bottom of my heart", he wrote on Twitter.
Marcelo, the Real Madrid left-back, expressed a similar sentiment in his tweet: "Whatever colours you wear or team you support, people are more important. You are going to win this match, Tito. Sending you all the strength in the world".
"Wars are only won after lots of battles and the secret is to fight until the end. You have all our support. You can do it Tito!", tweeted the full-back Álvaro Arbeloa.

Re: Tito Vilanova has had a relapse
Shocking news. Didn't even know he had medical problems.
So sorry to hear this. Hope he wins this fight. He's done rather well with Barca so far.

Such a shame though hope every goes well and he recovers quickly. Pep will not come in if he is only out for a month or so. If its 4 or longer, maybe...

Wishing him a healthy recovery. Hopefully he doesn't push himself and rush himself back into coaching, worst thing he can do.

Re: Tito Vilanova has had a relapse
I blame Mourinho for that eyepoke he gave him that year may have caused the relapse to develop
