Just realized that this is probably the worst team from Europe ever in FCWC/Intercontinental Cup? Not even top 16.

It will be interesting to see how Chelsea perform, this not only being perhaps their best opportunity for silverware of the year but also a potentially historic moment for the club, even if quite a few do not take this title as seriously as others do.

I can't comment yet on whether I think their likely opponents will be able to overcome them, however after tonight's semi-final I'll be better informed. Hopefully we're treated to a good match.

Chelsea will take it seriously, because it would be completely ignorant and disrespectful otherwise. This could be their last chance to win it, as they have to win UCL to reach it again.

Corinthians had deservedly taken the lead, however that was an insipid second half and Al-Ahly exited bravely, they really deserved an equaliser in that second half. They consistently lacked the final pass, however their approach play was promising and I can't see Chelsea failing to knock over Corinthians with the combination of Mazacar.

This is of course assuming that Chelsea are able to navigate their semi-final. I could easily see Monterrey giving them the biggest scare they'll face in this competition.

Dont think that Coritnhians got dominated on the second half because they were poor. They wanted to be dominated.

Score, close the shop and go counter, thats how they do things.

For once, I will actually put my money on a SA team to beat the EU team.

1-0 Goal from Mata in the half time.

It hasn't been the bloodbath you might expect, Chelsea taking it very very calm.

Do you think it will end this way?

Now that we've got the goal rafa won't throw too many men forward, a 1-0 wouldn't surprise me, although if we go for it the score line could get ugly
