Re: Lewandowski to utd?
Man Utd don't need anymore strikers. RVP, Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck etc. Plus Kagawa needs to be playing in an attacking position.

Basically well except he has a better attitude and higher work rate other than that their traits are almost identical.

Before you call shit out of your ass take a look at your overrated strikers because he is better then anything your team has upfront.
Like cyber man said he would work well with Rvp and Rooney behind. Rvp is injury prone and isn't getting younger. United need cover upfront because chicarito can't start and be influencial. Welback is still young but not the answer right now.

Re: Lewandowski to utd?
this makes no sense to me. they have enough forwards, they need to work on their midfield still.
besides chicharito has been excellent coming off the bench this year.

Re: Lewandowski to utd?
yes, off the bench.
unless we push rooney up and have kagawa in the hole..but that leaves us short of a ball player who can play inside left of a diamond.

thats what i was getting at.
at the moment united have the versatility to play a 3 forward formation (rooney, rvp, chicha), 2 striker formation (rvp, rooney), and a 1 striker formation if rvp is hurt (rooney with kagawa as AM)
another striker seems to complicate this and leave an odd man out most of the time, or would force untied to play 3 up top.

There are conflicting reports around Robert Lewandowski, as some claim Juventus are closing in on the Borussia Dortmund striker and others he is joining Manchester United.
The 24-year-old Polish international has long been linked with both these clubs, but it seems as if the German side is finally open to offers.
According to the Corriere dello Sport this morning, Juve are closing in on Lewandowski and German sources suggest they are on the verge of completing a transfer.
However, the Daily Mail claims Manchester United have already agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund worth £12m.
I want him to come he is world class

I am surprised with all the hate towards Lewandowski. Juve would definitely be the better move for him though.

Re: Lewandowski to utd?
I rate Lewandowski compared to other as he is beyond a poacher but more closer to the Luca Toni or Giroud mold. His hold up play is excellent, expert volleys on the balls, excellent movement within the box and when in form gets the important goals needed. His problem I must admit is his finishing.
I personally don't think he suits Dortmund's fast paced counter attack system as a possession based system from Juve with its technical wingbacks would provide a system in which Lewandowski can thrive within.

Who is hating him?
Fact is while he works very hard, holds the ball up well and links up well with the midfield around him he's a very erratic finisher....
Dortmund have lost games due to his finishing he scores goals not because he's a fantastic finisher but because of the brilliant service they provide him with.
Like Spurs did for Adebayor last season and Arsenal did for Adebayor when he was there.
Thus the Adebayor comparison as he is exactly the same except Lewandowski has a much better attitude.
Always amuses me how on here.... "you don't agree with me so your a hater" logic always comes out.
