Where do you rank Klose among all-time great strikers ?

I think your main problem is that you are trying to attach ranking numbers. I think that is the problem as IMO you can't really say "These are Nr. 1 / 2 / 3 etc as people look at players with different focus and you have severe problems to compare different eras, too, not less as you rarely have proper footage of older matches available. That is why I simply say Klose belongs to the top strikers, and he does - everybody who managed to score more than 1 goal in every second match for his country *is* top for me. If that is so easy, why didn't more players manage that?
