Re: Iker Casillas
How he continues to get games ahead of De Gea despite continually making errors and looking in decline is baffling to me.
Its actually ridiculous case of favoritism.

Ouch. I'm actually feeling sad for him that he doesn't realize he totally ruins his former reputation

I almost feel bad about ripping into Iker some more but his gym comments really pissed me off

Can't believe we sold San Diego to keep him happy

LOL, the day De Gea becomes Espana's number 1 is the day we come after him. I wouldn't be so eager if I were you

LMAO didn't know Iker had such a build of a Beta Rabbit Herb.

Alpha Type Diego sold to Milan

Gracias Madrid

- Spoiler:
- Still would have taken San Basque to Milan over Diego still.
But Costa (unsurprisingly) has been worse for us than Iker has today.

He's Atletico through and through.

It will be like G.Nev signing for Man City.

San Leaker. Providing some entertainment during an otherwise bleak intl. break.

Re: Iker Casillas
Don't see why the idea of De Gea being no 1 is so funny if I'm honest.
He was despite the Moyes debacle one of the best in the league last season and IMO the best in the league so far this season and it's not really close.
Reina is shit now, Valdes probably will be meh after he's injury and Casillas problems are well documented, he's by far the best option tbh.

Utd are currently in the top 4 zeal
"Worst start ever"
Also nobody can be surprised by Del Bosque's favoritism, he didn't get the Del Lippi comment from nowhere. Only difference is that Lippi stepped down

I agree with your sentiment in general but Reina cannot be considered shit especially after his season for Napoli to which arguably had him as Serie A's best goalkeeper.
Diego Lopez has to stop faking his injury to prove his form.
Valdes will likely never be back to his post-injury.
De Gea is deserved despite 1 loss in 2 games yet has looked a solid presence between the nets.

I thought Casillas was alright in the CL last season tbh. Bar the finals he was pretty solid.

Well it's still early in the season

Plus a couple more "Leicesters" could change their outlook completely

(I'm only half joking btw lol)

The amount of individual errors this guy makes per season never fails to amaze me for supposedly the GOAT GK
He had another couple of clangers yesterday and surprise surprise no criticism whatsoever. Brushed under the rug as if it never happened while any other keeper would have been trending on twitter for a day & berated on here.
One of the luckiest athletes of all time fortunate enough to have consistently played on some of the most stacked teams ever seen in the history of football.
Come at me!
EDIT: @ RG, please ban anyone who mentions Robben shooting straight at him.![]()
