Re: -The Official Club of Europa League>Champions League Gathering-
This is by far the most embarassing european night in the clubs history and I hope it won't be forgotten in the summer. At least half of the team has to be sold (to 2nd division teams I guess).. the more the better. What a nightmare we can't get them out right now but have to watch them for months to come...

Re: -The Official Club of Europa League>Champions League Gathering-
Swansea were brilliant. Should have won if it wasn't for Rafael. However they don't have a chance in Naples because Napoli are a different side over there. Not even we could beat them.
Which also brings up my point that Rafael is a very good GK prospect. I brought this before and was laughed at by Mole

Re: -The Official Club of Europa League>Champions League Gathering-
Napoli should not have chosen to undergo the 4-2-2-2 that Rafa chooses to set his counters as it absorbs far too much pressure. Swansea, I expected would incur fatigue from their heavy pressing yet continued the intensity to dominate the midfield. Bony sadly is a rather mediocre striker while their abundant pace did not translate to many tangible chances in the final third. Very impressive performance from them, yet Napoli are a different team in San Paolo and will never choose to counter. A goal was needed from them in the Liberty, though.
Rafael? Been astounding in every chance afforded to him and the Neapolitans have endeared well to his talent. RG is right, he is an excellent prospect. Reina as good as he has been, would not be such a dire loss if he departed.

Eintracht Frankfurt tonight Their fans were so awesome , watching it on TV most of the noise came from them and Porto fans seemed quiet. Need more teams like them in Europe and less teams like Leverkusen.

Was Rafael playing in the 1st half?
Because I started watching from the 2nd and Pepe Reina was in goal.

Ah right, cheers.
Reina bailed them out a few times aswell
But I fancy Napoli to score at least 3 at home. They've pummelled many great teams there in recent times.

Genk - Anji: 0-0
AZ - Liberec: 1-0
Ludogorets - Lazio: 1-0
Valencia - Kyiv: 2-0
Napoli - Swansea: 0-0
Frankfurt - Porto: 2-2
Donetsk - Plazen: 1-1
Odesa - Lyon: 0-0
Rubin - Betis: 1-1
Sevilla - Maribor: 2-2
Spurs - Dnipro: 0-1
Benfica - PAOK: 1-0
Salzburg - Ajax: 3-0
Basel - Tel-Aviv: 0-0
Trabzonspor - Juventus: 0-2
Fiorentina - Esbjerg: 3-1
I think Valencia, Salzburg, Juventus Fiorentina are through. They have a hefty lead and only Juventus plays away. AZ, Ludogorets & Benfica plays at home with a 1-0 win under their belt. I think all three are good enough to optimize their advantages and will go through. I feel the AZ-Liberec tie will be the closest and most boring. Spurs are trailing (1-0) but now has home advantage. This is perhaps the only tie where the result and the teams are perfectly balanced. Genk, Napoli, Odessa & Basel play at home after a scoreless away leg. Do you suppose Lyon can cause an upset!!! Otherwise the hosts should progress with Genk-Anzi being an eye-sore. Donetsk & Rubin play at home after a 1-1 away leg. Plazen may create some trouble but Betis certainly won’t. Finally Frankfurt & Seville, two host teams with 2-2 away leg. The Frankfurt-Porto tie will be the most entertaining, IMO.
