Zenit overpaid. A lot. 90m for both of them is ridiculous, and it's going to cost them 180m including wages. That's just too much for me.

By the way, the Russian League is NOT shit. I don't watch it regularly but I have watched the big games occasionally, and teams like Zenit, Dynamo Moscow, Rubin Kazan, Anzhi, Spartak Moscow, and CSKA Moscow are very good teams actually.

I think people are forgetting or never knew in the first place that Luciano Spalletti (Roma's old coach and probably best coach in the last couple cycles they have had)is Zenit's coach as well.

Zenit is a first class organization and would have to be considered a power among European teams. There not like Anzhi, they have been good for a long time and have run there program the right way building up slowly and bringin in a few non russians when they feel the time is right and fitting them into the team not to mention a lot of the best Russians want to play there as well.
