i dont knw how to feel about this

i like him but he hasnt played enough games to judge him, but we all know what he can do.

i hope sahin plays a lot for liverpool and gets the game time and isnt on the bench

hope essien does well and isnt injured

Considering that he played his best football under Mourinho... I'm not upset.
He obviously has quality, but needs a decent partner. In fact, I think he'd do better alongside Khedira than Alonso (Khedira is more like Ballack).

Anybody upset about this should bear in mind it's really just a loan... a quickfire move to make up for Lass' departure.
And thank f*** Lass is gone!

I really like Essien but his injuries and form is a concern. And yet I feel more confident about Essien than I ever did with Lass.

We have pretty much nothing to lose in this deal and he is ideal backup for Khedira because their style is quite similar. Maybe if he plays well then we can sign him on permanent deal.

Tore both his ACL's lost every ounce of explosiveness he ever had , so I'm not hoping for anything from him.

But he once was a great player and seems like a nice guy.

I think he'll be a better player than Lass for us which is something. Other than that I don't see him starting much over Khedira.
