Do you understand this doesn't really mean I am saying it's the best league in the world, but the league is very competitive, it's hard to predict who will win a match or even win the league.

But then again, it's even debatable if Bundesliga is currently the best league in the world. Looking at champions league performance all 3 Bundesliga teams currently top their group, groups which includes Madrid, Valencia, Arsenal, City etc.

For once I have to agree with The Messiah here. Non-competitive Dortmund took 4 points of Real and only drew unluckily against ManCity, while similarly non-competitive Schalke managed to get 4 points of Arsenal...

Yea, anyone that thinks the Bundesliga is not conpetitive is an idiot. Schalke, Dortmund, and Bayern are all tearing Europe up. Hannover and Leverkusen are both doing very well in the Eyropa League. Hamburg and Werder are both also usually strong in Europe. And theres a different.Bundesliga champion almost every year.

Just to add to your point, Bundesliga club have lost just 1 match so far in champions league, if I am not mistaking La Liga have lost 3 matches, of which 2 defeats are in the hands of budesliga and all thanks to Bundesliga prodigy(Oezil) who rescued La-Liga from 4 defeats to 3.

All Bundesliga needs now is just another team to rise up, currently you have Bayern, Dortmund and Schalke 04 who are nearly evenly matched, we need another team to step up, so we can become absolute beast in champions league.

I had high hope in BMG, but everything fell apart after Dante left for Bayern, Reus for Dortmund and Neustädter for Schalke 04. that's equivalent to losing your best defender, midfielder and attacker to 1st 2nd and 3rd best club in the league.

Werder Bremen and Leverkusen have the most potentials now, but they simply can not hold on to their best players.

I also believe if Schalke 04 are to play Madrid at the moment, they will also beat them.

I hope by the end of the season Frankfurt are replaced by Bayern Leverkusen, I also hope either Dortmund or Schalke 04 comes out 4th, reason being that we are guaranteed of 4 Bundesliga teams in cpl next season. I don't want inconsistent teams in that 4th position, we need a team that will surely qualify.

Reports that Lewis Holtby has asked for 300% pay rise to sign new deal. Horst Heldt said in press conference today that he "couldn't confirm" that.

He's on €1.5m at the moment.

Well it's in Bild, so it's probably a lie, but for the sake of argument, if it's true, it's a pretty ballsy demand.
Sure, I guess all young players will want a raise with every contract they sign until they hit their prime, but 300% is harsh, especially in a club like Schalke. This seems like the gamble of someone who wouldn't mind playing for another club next season, which is a damn shame, Holtby has been brilliant for the club so far.

btw Dortmund only need a a point out of their last two games to qualify for the knockouts.

Although i believe they have a good chance of topping their group.

If Madrid draw tomorrow and Dortmund win,they'll be confirmed group toppers.Easier said than done though.

They can still crash out though, so I won't say anything yet. But they've already done exceptionally well, despite being incredibly unlucky with their last-minute draws against Real and City.
Though at least Real deserved that equalizer, unlike City.

I hope Dortmund and Madrid make it through, I like Ajax as well, but those two deserve it the most. City can go last for all I care.

Side note: every time I have to endure them, Spanish teams annoy the hell out of me. The amount of dives I saw from Valencia was ludicrous, and in the last 30 minutes, Webb even let them get away with it for the most part. Disgusting.

That being said, Bayern were cartoonishly harmless in front of goal today. The goal they did score was neat, though.,

if you think feigning injuries in the last quarters is anything compared to what they do in LaLiga you are mighty wrong, usually when they lead against us they start wasting time in the early first half, they should get a nobel price for how long it took them to waste time. That said they should not do it and they should be punished for doing it i am all for that. Think Dante used up all his chances on staying on the pitch tbh, could have easily been sent off, he didnt back down afetr his first yellow but he wasnt as stupid as barragan tholol
