Re: Inter sign Scudetto
Mouthwatering battle for the 8th place spot with Catania. 2 games to go, one point difference.

From winning the treble, to this. They need a better manager to take them back to where they belong.

Re: Inter sign Scudetto
an already limited side with poor depth can't have 15 players injured at once and expect sunshine and lollipops
I don't even really like Stramma but sacking him is stupid. No one could've saved this season, you can't squeeze blood from a stone. Besides, there are no indications that we can attract a coach of enough quality to make a difference...If we could have we wouldn't have hired Gasperini....or Ranieri....or Strammacioni

Re: Inter sign Scudetto
Honestly a full strength inter could have finished around 3rd/4th this season but obviously injuries fkd them up. Their two best players milito and samuel were injured for large amounts of time this season, looks like they need to take the same route as milan and sign youth and hope they turn out well kovacic was a good signing now they need paulinho and a striker to replace milito failiure to do this will have vast consequences for inter next season

Re: Inter sign Scudetto
If you watched Inter in the last 2 matches against Napoli and Lazio you wouldnt want to replace Stramma. We're actually playing some really good football, keeping possession and creating chances by the bucket load. The problem is that our defense is just miserable, and once we concede everything starts going wrong. And it doesnt help that our only available striker doesnt understand what off the ball means. If we just had Milito to complete our offensive setup we'd be in a much better position.

Anelka is 34 boss
People make mistakes
Inter had a very unlucky season, can't really say much more. I have respect for them for ending Juventus' unbeaten run, in Torino at that and it wasn't a fluke. They'll bounce back with some proper management, some shrewd transfers and a little bit of luck on their side.

Re: Inter sign Scudetto
This season reminds me of a protracted version of Benitez's stay at Inter, where he had the team playing genuinely entertaining, attacking football only to see almost every single major player succumb to injury within the space of a month. Fortunately for Inter that year, the injuries weren't of a long term nature, however they've had a similar crisis this year.
There still remain definite issues with Inter's squad however and doubtless certain periods of the season can be attributed to either tactical inflexibility, and poor selections from the coach, however every single manager in the world makes these mistakes throughout the season. For the majority though, their problems aren't compounded by such extreme circumstances and they can get away with it.
Stramaccioni should honestly just play a very young side for the last two rounds, there's essentially nothing to be gained at this stage of the season and no point to playing a hack such as Kuzmanovic.

Re: Inter sign Scudetto
I remember RG saying a few months into the season on Twitter that Stramaccioni is SO GREAT.. HE HAS DONE A TERRIFIC JOB. AND HE'S THE RIGHT MAN FOR THE JOB.
Well he did not say exactly that, but something along those lines. I told him he was jumping the gun...

Re: Inter sign Scudetto
Who would have thought that Benitez would be remembered as a more positive force in Inters recent history
Y u no have Biabiany
Only excuse Inter would have for this meltdown, is if they are seriously working on the new stadium plans and are careful with investments because of it.
