I don't see how Podolski is a 'flop' within 6 months of moving from a now-relegated team to a work-in-progress-after-serious-player-turnover big team in a supposedly difficult league, while switching from an out-an-out-striker-around-whom-the-team-is-built role into a left-wing-inside-forward-hybrid-with-more-defensive-responsibility role. Not a dfficult transition at all, now, is it.

[This is not purely in response to free_cat comment, but more a general response to pockets of supporters questioning Podolski].

I really think he is doing an Oke job. He is an amazing player, will only get better tough.
