tbf to Carrick, he's actually a great passer and not a bad player by any means.

There's no way to compare those 2 amazing players.I would like to see them playing together.They complement each other.Pirlo has greater long passes and greater vision, but Carrick has a better defending positioning and greater tackles.

PS. I'm not saying that Pirlo doesn't know how to make nice tackles.

Obviously you don't know the difference between Carrick's role in the team and Pirlo's role at Juventus . You can't compare them.

You may talk about efficiency for the team.Last season Pirlo had more impact on the team than Carrick had for Man United, but also Michael was the greatest on his position in EPL if we check the statistics.

For example, i can say that "i have no doubt in my mind that De Jong is better than Van der Vaart" , it is completely unfair to compare those two

Anyway, i can't see the purpose of this thread like many other threads on this forum.And i see a lot of guys who support teams from La Liga or Serie A and only laugh at Carrick.C'mon guys, it's not like we are talking about a mediocre player, he started in 3 UCL finals and won 1.Also he won 4 EPL.It's not only Pirlo who has great performances (greatest is the WC 2006 and maybe the only amazing one).I was trying to remind you that you talk about a defensive midfielder that has greater performances than many other players, and you still laugh at him.
