fed up of hearing ppl saying that modric doesnt play in "big games"
for tottenham he has no quality around him to play with.
hmm maybe this could be a reason why you think he doesnt play well against the top sides. Cause the team is is no good!
with the quality around him at madrid he is bound to come good

Give a Good manager Spurs and he would do well...
Modric had some *HATE TO SAY THIS* quality around him, but even in Average games, he appeared average most times, all he does is link up, and no midfield control
Arteta had him in his pocket for 90 Minutes.

Madrid were lucky to get the draw and not lose, I also have the same question about why Marcelo didn't start, or get subbed in.

wow talk about a useless post...
attack his teammate? the guy gives alot for the team and today got injured while trying to win the ball like a BRAVE player.. not some coward, and injury must never be ridiculed...
Anyways EVERYONE, do you think after this performance, what are our chances of super cup? personally i think we always start the season shakky, last season our first match ended in a draw to a weak team, this season we faced valencia... 3rd best team, so i didn't expect too much considering our players are NOT even fully match fit yet, and we were soo unlucky to have hit the cross bar and even side bar lol

*bleep* you it's ok when you Madrid fans masturbate in a circle because messi misses a penalty or Alves dives? I cracked a joke because of how reckless pepe is but your just mad. It's ok to be butthurt.

lassana diarra, enough said!
This is why we need modric lass offers nothing.
coentrao was so poor attacking-wise, poor crosses and misplaced passes.
you cant win the league in august but you can lose it.
Talk of knee-jerking, Ronaldo had a good game, was pretty isolated on the wings as Coentrao couldn't push forward to support him, hence he turned more of a provider in this game than a scorer.
I still prefer Benzema to Higuain, who despite his goal lacked the creative spark the French man brings to the team. He'll be starting the next La Liga match for sure.
Bad result but the play was quite good considering we created a lot of chances despite Valencia sitting very deep.
And Pepe should get well soon, I don't like the thoughts of Albiol starting our next match, we never seem to win with him on the pitch.

Ronaldo had a meh game mate, it's not the end of the world lol....he didn't provide anything much.
It's ok tho, he was on because he's the biggest goal threat.

Re: Real Madrid vs Valencia discussion
Real Madrid defender Pepe has been taken to hospital for overnight observation after hurting his head in a collision during the 1-1 home draw with Valencia in the Spanish league on Sunday.
Pepe collided with teammate Iker Casillas in the 42nd minute when both tried to reach a cross in Madrid's area that led to Valencia's goal.
The two players remained prone on the pitch for a few moments. Pepe was replaced by Raul Albiol at halftime and sent to the hospital afterward.
Madrid says tests revealed no brain damage but that he would spend 24 hours under observation.
Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo says "(Pepe) is in hospital and we'll see how he progresses. He is an important player for us but his health is the most important thing.''

Re: Real Madrid vs Valencia discussion
Ronaldo sought to play his teammates in whenever he had the opportunity, I remember him creating two clear chances for Ozil and Callejon. Not his greatest game but he put in a good shift, he would have been a lot better with Marcelo running besides him.
Madrid struck the woodwork twice or so and Diego Alves was probably the man of the match not much cause for concern, but the finishing would have to improve.

Re: Real Madrid vs Valencia discussion
After watching the replay, it's clear that collision was Pepe's fault and had he been smarter, it could have been avoided. I was genuinely worried about Casillas. Pepe just ran into Casillas' space and knocked heads with him.
You can see that Casillas' position was static the whole time, but Pepe insisted on playing the goalkeeper...

Re: Real Madrid vs Valencia discussion
It's not fair to blame either player there, the ball was to be won and they both went for it, they could have probably communicated better, the marking on Jonas though was poor, he was coming in from deep and no one followed him.
Luckily none of the two players seem to have sustained any serious injuries, Pepe came of the worst though, and is scheduled to have a head CT scan than.

again, pointless post, what does missing a penalty and diving (which are both negative ) have to do with someone who was going for the ball and accidentally collided with his player, and he himself got injured for the team, and took one for the team like a man... pepe is more of a man than alves every will be... now u can kindly GTFO of our section

Ok it was onside every says it way just because a Greek Madrid fan doesn't agree I really don't give a shit your team played like crap today especially your gf Christina. So whatever bullshit you want to spew about rolling balls doesn't matter to me so don't waste time.
Why being such an immature hater for? did u not learn any manners you trol,, GTFO id rather see a monkey write a post here, bcause that would be more knowledgeable than most of the things you write here, just like your post i have quoted... utterly useless poster

Guys our main goal is the fitness of all the players for super cup! we have to take our game to them in camp nou, and get a facourable result!! marcelo was missed today, and so was khedira...

yea it was really a knee jerk post
but ronaldo really had a poor game. he never got into the game
and i agree, after lass came off and benzema came on the we created much more chances.
yes we were unlucky and valencia had a good defense, but coentrao and ronaldo were not good enough going forward.

Re: Real Madrid vs Valencia discussion
This game proved that you need the preason so badly, only Xabi out ofthose who didnt get a proper preseason played good
we were very predictable once DiMaria was subbed out, the only really good chance after that was that xabi over the top ball that callegoat nearly got the end of
why Mou thought we would still create as much when callegoat was on i will never know, the guys scores you the goals not creates them
out of the poor ones, Ronaldo, Cacktrao and Ozil stunk the place out, wont even bother mentioning lass
seriously make selling cacktrao a priority alongside kaka and lass, the guy is so fcking useless 30 mill for that garbage??? man benfica ripped us apart

Re: Real Madrid vs Valencia discussion
After spending the night at the hospital and undergoing the proper medical tests, Portuguese defender Pepe has finally gone home and will now be in charge of Real Madrid's medical services. Real Madrid's chief doctor Carlos Díez explained this decision in the club's latest report on Pepe's status:
Usually, when there's a concussion, we have the player in a 24-hour observation plan, but we also move him to the hospital, where he undergoes some necessary medical tests, which have been negative. He has been taken care of this night, and everything is fine, so we've decided that he can leave the hospital without any further problem.
It's very likely that Pepe still misses the Supercup game against Barcelona, but his return to the pitch could take place against Getafe in the next Liga BBVA fixture.
