Real Madrid vs Valencia discussion.
Next Sunday.
Real Madrid face the team who finished 3rd last season. The champions haven't bought anyone so far, however Valencia have signed Gago from Real Madrid. It'll be interesting to see how he performs against his old side.

I expect a 2-0 win this time, with Mourinho forcing to win in in the first half and rest in the second.
The formation will be as usual 4-2-3-1 with Casillas on the goal, Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos and Coentrao(or maybe Marcelo if he isn't given any extra vacation) Xabi and Khedira as central midfielders, Di Maria, Ozil and Ronaldo to support Benzema.

Pepe will miss Portugal's friendly due to a sprained right angle. So he's leaving Portugal's camp to return to the club's medical services.

I don't care about the score, we just need to start with a win. I don't see us scoring more than 3, if that. After all Valencia are the 3rd best team in Spain.
One thing I do hope for the line-up is for a Higuain start. Benzema came late into the preseason with us after a pretty disappointing Euro's, and Higgy has looked sharper to date in our friendlies. I think another week of preparations would do Benz well.

if ronaldo's name wasnt cristiano ronaldo, he would have been taken off a long time ago. he was so poor, it was ridiculous.
he didnt even try to switch sides with di maria or callejon to see if he could get into the game. he seemed like he just wanted to go home.

does anyone know why Coentrao played the whole second half?
it was obvious Valencia were dead on attack and taking of soldado so early was proof, Marcelo should have played, and offered more teeth in attack, that left flank looked "gervinhoish"
