Well he was good and bad, the good was he was half of the time solid and stopped ineasta, the bad was that most of the times his positioning was SHOCKING and he let ineasta to come at him instead of stopping him before he even starts, he was torn apart by ineasta and was out of position for the second goal, some might say it was winger job to mark abidal, but did u even look at altintop positioning at that time, he was acting as he is a CB.

The thing is arbeloa would probably have 100 times better performance then this dude. but what can we do, we had no choice other then him.

I have been screaming for a True RB since like few months, people just kept dismissing me, now they know.

Aside from his bad positioning which led to Abidal running to our box, he was also misplacing a lot of passes. once he tried to make a forward pass but screwed it and if it wasn't for Messis poor finishing, the game would've been level in the first half.

he did well with the ball in some occasions.

He was actually decent considering the magnitude of the game, the time it's been since he's played a full game and that he's played out of position.

He did get owned, but he owned Iniesta a lot, too.

Yes exactly. I thought given the situation he impressed (for the most part). I don't think he was completely at fault for the Abidal goal. Ronaldo had been coming back and defending well all game and was just standing watching Abidal run through on that particular play. Cris should have came back and marked the open man.

I thought our marking in general was poor and our defensive line wouldn't pull up fast enough. Again I realize this is barca.

Regardless, Altintop showed up to play and I'm happy with that.

Had a meh game as a rb. Clearly not bettet than any other rb we have but a decent backup I guess.

altintop had a lot of clean tackles, and for the most part did his job, which is to defend.

he did just as well as arbeloa.

all this hate on altintop- he wasnt the problem the problem was tactical. we had what 2 shots the whole match? we were LUCKY to even have 1 goal.

He wasn't playing it though at the time of the goal

Ronaldo was at RW when Abidal scored.

If it was Altintop (RB) vs Iniesta (LW) then it would of been Ronaldo (RW) vs Abidal (LB).
