Re: The Blue Box
Great results Kick!
@fatman, I've regained my fitness, perhaps exceeded what I achieved before. Lost some fat and reduced weight (which is pretty hard since I got an average fat level)
I'm in the same situation as Kick. Skinny guy trying to bulk up lol
What's your opinion on losing as much as fat as you can before trying to gain muscle? I think I need some more work on my chest before I start weight training seriously. But I'm due to leave for Australia in 3 months and I need to get into shape before that

Kick wrote:Haha, yes, my gym buddy is jealous because I eat so badly. Not after my workout though, after every work out I eat cans of Tuna. something like 20% of DI of Protein in them.
Losing weight must suck, I have always been skinny so I don't know how hard it is but I am sure it is.
yeah tuna is great although i cant eat it stright, i usally have it in a sandwhich and slather it in mayonaise to kill the taste
yep loosing weight isnt fun, but its rewarding, when i first joined the gym, midway through March i was around 25% bodyfat and now im down to about 18%.
The hardest bit about it all is loosing fat is just controlling your cravings which im finally getting the hang of, after alot of trial and error im starting to find which foods and drinks best curb my appetiite, although unfortunately i do go to bed hungry some nights

you've just got to make it all fit somehow, because im at uni four days a week and the days and hours i work changes every week every week im at the gym at different times, and sometimes i might go to two different gyms in a week so i can fit it all in (thank god for anytinme fitness!)

I've found the best method of cardio to loose fat is HIIT, ive been doing it for about a month now and the results are awesome. i do it three times per week for 15mins with 30second high and low intensity intervals, i wouldnt adivse doing it for more then 15mins per day but you can change the size of the intervals and number times you do it each week to suit what your goals.
Another thing ive been doing for the last month is taking 300mg caffine pre-workout (start with 200mg to test, if you feel your heart going amillion miles a minute then lower your dosage, you should hardly notice the caffiene) as it improves blood flow which can aid fat loss, especially in stubborn areas like your lower stomach. Also so you dont build up too much of an resistance to it, cycle it two weeks on, one week off and remember, supplements only work as hard as you do, donnt think caffiene pills are some sort of mircale drug, because theyre not
and if your really dedicated google Interminit Fasting, ive never done it before but the results you get with it are supposed to be awesome
as for building chest strength, if you want a stronger chest, get stronger triceps. Think of it this way, every chest moverment you do (except chest flies) is a compund movement that uses your chest and triceps, although your chest is the much stronger of the two which is why your triceps give out before your chest when your doing these exercises. So as your triceps get stronger they'll be able to push more weight which will allow you to do more reps with more weight on your chest, which will give you what you want
Another trick ive found works is to do four sets of chest flies and then your sets of wide pushups before you do an other chest movement, that way you can really fatigue your chest while preserving your triceps which will aloow you to get more out of your bench press

I've been doing HIIT for awhile actually
I can do 20minutes with 1min sprint and 2 min average jogging
I don't understand what you meant by the caffeine method; first time I've heard of it
Regarding the chest, I'm more concerned about losing fat in that are TBH. T Shirts don't exactly look, well.. good, if you know what I mean

Re: The Blue Box
go to your local chemist and buy a box of caffiene pills and for two weeks before you workout take 200mg worth of caffiene, then for one week stop taking them and repeat
as for loosing fat in your chest, theres no such thing as spot fat removal (ie picking where you loose fat from) you just have to keep the cardio up, keep your calories low and be patient and eventualy you'll loose the fat from your chest

TBH, if we knock them out we could well win the COC. that's if we try. I don't care if we win or lose TBH.

United lose. Good news for us.
Now 4 clear of United and City, 5 clear of Spuds, and 7 clear of L'Arse
