What are your expectations of PSG in this upcoming season?

Will they win a Ligue1 and make an impressive stand in the CL?

Why must all feel hate towards PSG. They are going for something great now, cant we just be happy about them?

lyon montpellier and lille are challengers
but i can see them being the same or inferior to their last season squads

whereas psg is drastically improving

Spend, Spend, Spend without looking at wage structure. Players lose out on their $. Players get pissed. Leave. PSG lose a crap ton of money. Sheiks leave. New owner is like Obama stepping into the White House after Bush. Scratches his head. Liquidates the club. Rots in 3rd division.

All this after they finish 2nd in their league and 4th in CL group stages.

They'll run a train in the league, and they should definitely make it out of the groups

Except that QIA bought Ligue 1 TV rights globally for 5 years, launched 1 all sports TV network just prior to the Euro (BeIn Sport 1), planning on launching a second one soon (BeIn Sport 2) AND are in negotiations to try and buy Park des Princes or will find an alternate location to develop. Also talks about international PSG training facilities and youth camps in Africa, Asia and Middle East.

This all smells like short term commitment to me
