I am in med school though.. Just wrote Step 1 not too long ago, waiting for my results.. Every single phys or path teacher I have ever came across classifies it as a hormone, and every definition online states that it is a hormone.. If you are talking about what is actually given for say replacement therapy or whatever, then maybe it's not exactly EPO but it should atleast be a derivative and act the same way...

Cool man, a fellow in the same profession. Yeah I'm a biochemist MS/ MD so I get really picky with the conventional classification of hormones, etc...you know how intricate it is to describe molecular mechanisms. But good stuff man, did u get your rotations yet?

Anyway yeah Zanetti is really old but not really

Watching an interview with Zanetti right now, some fun facts:

Zanetti's barber is an AC Milan fan, and he has not changed his haircut since arriving at Milan, 17 years ago.

One time Zanetti's wife booked a hotel with a badly equipped gym. He asked his wife to give him a hand, and she had to stuff her backpack with her heaviest items and sit on Zanetti while he did squats.

The day of his wedding day, Zanetti went training.

When he arrived at the club, the coach asked him "So, where do you like to play?"

When he was presented at the club, the journalists didn't know what he looked like, so he walked anonymously through the journalists to get on the stage.

Zanetti eats pasta for lunch and dinner.
