As a neutral, it was a great match. The Mexicans were superb with the comeback, but the U.S. did themselves no favours.

"USA lost" no "Mexico won"

USA's mid were terribad. Michael Bradley and Jermaine Jones were invisible. didn't help out the defense in no kind of fashion and left a lot of the defenders out to dry against an oncoming Gio and Barrera.

USA failed to pressure the Mexican midfielders, Torrado and Castro. It all starts with them and as you can clearly see, when they played Honduras and Guatemala, Mexico played very sloppy and poor due to the constant pressure put on by the Hondurasn forwards and midfielders on Rafa, Torrado, Castro and Guardado.

Bob Bradley didn't take notes. tried to bunker, got smashed for it. Here's your end result. oh and Jonathan Bornstein is EXTRA BAD.

I've heard Bradleys strategy bashed in a bunch of ways....but not yet "tried to bunker"

Both fullbacks were pushing forward, both CMs kept charging up the field with no regard for discipline, and he didn't remove any forwards for midfielders or defenders despite going up 2-0 early

Bunkering?

Can't agree with that one my man

Bradley should've bunkered it after the second one, IMO. But I'm guessing he tried to return the 5-0.

Honestly, that final was one of the best matches I've ever seen. If USA didn't have such a crappy defense, they would've held on to their lead and won.

Congrats to Mexico.

PS Dos Santos is a totally different player when it comes to Mexico. He was fantastic.

How the hell was Barrera not able to get into West Ham's first XI for a sustained amount of time? Guy's crazy good as we saw Saturday night. He can certainly do better than West Ham imo.

Look, we got our clocks cleaned pretty bad in our own backyard. No getting around that. Mexico thoroughly deserved their win. They were hungrier, they were more aggressive, and they had more desire. For a team like USA, that's made up of physically gifted individuals, we should've been beating Mexico to every loose ball, but that's not how it went down.

I'm not going to use the excuse that the crowd got to the players because we've played in far more hostile venues and have come out with much better results.

Truth of it is, we were comprehensively out played and deserved to lose. I really don't know how many chances Bradley's gonna get, but something needs to change.

Giovani was outstanding. So was Barrera and Guardado

Hope all 3 find clubs where they can start next season (Guardado starts but stays injured till Mexico calls him up again lol)

NO REAM.

howard
chandler gonzalez a-boss lichaj
bradley edu
bedoya adu donovan
dempsey

In my opinion thats our best team as of this moment

it still weak at cb (well, young is probably the bette word)
its still weak at defensive mid

but I think its better than anything else we got

The team for the future is slooowly taking shape - chandler, lichaj, adu, bedoya, agudelo, altidore, bradley

But they aren't ready to play together yet
