If we get Giovinco and Isla...

Assumjng we get Giovinco, Isla, and Asamoah, as it seems are all pretty much done, thatmeans that were going to revert back to the 433 again right? Or a 4312? And Isla will play as a leftback? Cuz we still need a big CF and Marotta knows that, and i dont see that CF, Vucinic, or Gio being benched, or Isla or Lichsteiner. But in a 433 one of Gio or Vucinic has to be on the right as a traditional winger, so i think a 4312 with Gio behind Vucinic and the new CF, with Gio and Vucinic drifting out wide sometimes, similar to Barcas formations, might be a good idea to try.

Isla can play left, right or in the middle.
You could see a 3-5-2 with Vucinic and Giovinco up front for maximum creativity, or you could see one plus a Boriello/Quagliarella etc.

There is just too many games, there will be rotation. Nothing to worry about

From what I have read, Giovinco prefers to be used as a second striker/support striker Behind Matri/Quagliarella or <insert "big name forward> Perhaps as a CAM. It does leave the formation an open question though. There is a lot of flexibility though.

Vucinic has to start...

We could go 4-3-1-2, but I would be concerned about the lack of width. I t would have to be more direct attack. That big name striker/bomber would be a necessity.

firstly, giovinco said himself that he doesnt like that CAM role behind the two strikers. he said he enjoys the second striker role..and clearly he does...so he can play on either side of the front three in the 4-3-3 or the ss to the cf in the 3-5-2...an alternate to vucinic

isla is a much better RWB than lichstiener and caceres so he should be preferred in that formation. he isnt going to be back till october anyways. he can also play in CM like he has done with success for udinese at times this season or even in the RW role in the 4-3-3

he can play on the left but he wouldnt be used there. it will not make sense as he is primarily bought for the right side or at times the cm. LWB the only persons i would want there is probably ansaldi/kolarov/lulic/alvaro...persons who have that nice balance of attack and defensive solidity.

estigaribia cannot provide the comfort that we need on that LWB role. on many occasions he just bombs up the flank and either runs the ball out of play/gets jammed by the defender/with his head down just swings in a cross to who-i-dont-know and just gives up posession...he's not needed. and i doubt we will redeem him or else we would have done it by now...we may try to renew the loan at best...

it makes no sense throwing on someone just because they are too good for the bench. that is a small team mentality. its the collective effort of everyone. i know we like /love certain players but after they come and go we are the ones that remain with the club...so whatever helps juventus im down with that...i love everyone of our players out there..u get a start because in the coach's eyes because u deserve it...

I don't think Caceres is solid enough to be a CB!
He should just stick to be a Right-Back...
He's more dangerous going forward...

Bonucci could play because if Conte plays 4 at the back, he will more likely be the one out for Barzagli & Chiellini partnership which is unfortunate because I think he's getting better...

For me i think that the best formation is 3-5-2 and it would be something like this ( i assume )



In this formation you can use Giovinco instead of Vucinic as SS or instead Vidal (because conte has habit to use Vidal as CAM and Gio is perfect for that position and the formation will look like this :

I believe Giovinco will only be played as SS.. He can play a wide role as winger but he's not comfortable out wide and as we've seen from Parma this season, Giovinco is lethal in front of goal - let's put Isla out wide and make Giovinco as full time striker.. He does his tricks best inside the box - let's put him in there..

With the players we have acquired, we have the same formation flexibility, if not more, than we did last season. Also, every player we have added is an improvement over the current reserves. This has been an amazing market far for Marotta. A depth signing on defense, RB, CF, and plenty of sales and our market will be done. I'm really pleased with how much we have accomplished in very little time.

Kolarov is rumored to be unhappy with his current minutes for Man City. He would be a perfect addition for Juve. Isla can cover that position, but he is still right-footed. With Vucinic likely to be the left-sdied wide-forward or Left Striker, that makes for two inverted left-side players. I would prefer to have a natural left-footer that can swing in a cross if necessary. Kolarov can certainly do that.

As for a star CF, I think we're all in agreement that Giovinco ain't it. I'd expect to see him at CAM or in the SS role in the 3-5-2 for Serie A, and the RW in a 4-3-3 for European competitions. RVP, despite the blustering of Wenger, may still be an option if you can meet Arsenal's valuation. Wenger has a history of spouting off about the other teams interested in his players during contract talks. In the past, it's meant things weren't going his way. If you can't convince RVP to defect, Huntelaar and Higuain might yet remain options. Higauin could be dificult given Mourinho's desire to keep him as a #2 option, but Huntelaar is rumored to have a buyout clause of around €21 million. Given his 29 goal performance at Schalke last season (not to mention Klose's seemless transition from Bundesliga to Serie A) he might just be the answer for Juve.
