However its not like teams will make amazing unprecedented deals, or at least it remains to be seen if UEFA will actually have the balls to start banning teams.
Exactly.

Italy, Spain and Germany have to crack the Asian market if they want parity with the PL in terms of TV money.
But, with respect to the new deal, the only major difference this will make is make the likes of Carroll and Bent valued at over 50 million.

But it won't be another zero, it may be 10-20% difference. For that, players will go for a nicer lifestyle of Spain or Italy.
Tbh if players have any smarts at all they wont join Villa because they are going nowhere but money wont be a problem for them.
McLeish out Lambert in - Villa will finish top 12 this season

Thank you Man Utd for signing Kagawa...........
Miyaichi should get some good game time in the league next season too and hopefully even the Championship gets good revenue from Korea with Lee.

leemhuis wrote:Who is to say what is "fair value". What do you think Emirates paid for the stadium name? Looked it up. Emirates Airlines paid 200 million pounds for 15 years but there has been inflation. So what should Fiat/Chrysler pay. They are bigger than the airline.
It happens in accounting all the time...There are plenty of accountants/auditors/appraisers whose job it is to know what fair value is and isn't...

In the case of Spain clubs will have be run by actual capable people and not a bunch of muppets like it is now.

It would be great if the clubs used this new windfall to do something really nice, like lower ticket prices but I doubt...
