This just means the Carrol types will sell for 60 million instead of the previous 40

Re: New Premier League TV Deal
"The increase will equate to at least £14m more per year for each club, with the bottom club in the league from 2013/14 onwards likely to receive more than the £60.6m Manchester City received this year for ending the season as champions."
To put that into perspective, that equals about €75m,while the 3rd placed team in La Liga(Valencia)made €48m last year.

Yeah, something to that effect. The Charlie Adams, the Downings, the Milners and all those players that flatter to deceive would be costing quite a bit more now.

I wonder if this means Ashley will be a bit more flexible with his policy
Maybe we could buy more Cisse's instead of Obertans

Not necessarily, this new deal takes effect starting 2013/2014...teams need to survive relegation this season to get in on the action (I think)
The relegation battle this year will be absolutely incredible....so much on the line

yep thats right, this season coming up will be the last season on the old TV rights deal and then next season this new one will kick in. So whoever gets relegated this season and whoever just misses promotion will be picking themselves

It's the amount of money each team makes. It won't affect the viewers.
OT: Holy Cow! that is some serious money, FFP won't be a problem now!
