Re: Brendan Rodgers new Liverpool manager
They said Martinez turned it down because they wanted to put 3 guys in Damien Comolli's role over him, and he wouldn't go for that....
Anyways, does this mean Liverpool will play tiki taka?

I was thinking about this actually.... Sigurdsson has agreed to join Swansea permanently but has'nt signed any contracts yet.....
Surely Rodgers was a big thing in him agreeing to sign for Swansea?
I would not be suprised at all if has a U-Turn and goes somewhere else.

Good move. Less pressure on him than Kenny.

I dont think they will play tiki taka with those players lol, will be hillarious though.
Re: Brendan Rodgers new Liverpool manager
Joe Allen would be a good addition.
Carroll can always be a bench player providing a different option with Suarez starting.

Do you think they will finish outside the top 5 and not win a cup? because thats what they will need.....
If Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Utd continue to improve as they are rumoured to do so it will be difficult for anyone to break into it.....
And that includes the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle, Everton and Spurs.....
Yes i believe Spurs will start to go backwards.

4 managers in 2 years.
EDIT: They won't finish in the Top 4 next season. Just too much rebuilding to do.

Re: Brendan Rodgers new Liverpool manager
I don't agree Chelsea have more to do anyway..... most of their problems are in the process of being ironed out.... when i look at Chelsea's team it scares me a lot more than Liverpool's does....
They have a decent mix of defenders and midfielders ( both experienced and young) and if they sign Hazard and Hulk then their forward line will be frightening.
The only thing that would need sorting is a manager lol.
I do think the top 4 will be City, Chelsea, Utd and Arsenal in some order....
With Liverpool, Newcastle, Spurs and Everton in the next 4 spots again in some random order.

Re: Brendan Rodgers new Liverpool manager
RAWK Statement on Brendan Rodgers, new Liverpool Manager.
Brendan Rodgers is the new manager of Liverpool.
We at RAWK have always firmly believed that one of the strengths of being a Liverpool supporter is that we support the manager. We welcome him to our club and sincerely hope he understands the culture and history and requirements of one being manager at Liverpool Football Club, one of the major jobs in the world of football.
There may be some fans on here who did not wish for his appointment, perhaps preferring any number of other candidates. Let us make one thing clear: We support our manager. Full stop. If any of you are unable to do that, you will find yourselves looking for another fansite to post on. Liverpool supporters are meant to do things the right way and make no mistake, we will remove persistent whingers, moaners, nostalgists and petty posters from this site without a second thought.
Welcome Brendan, you've a bloody big pair of boots to fill. Good luck and welcome and all the best from us at RAWK

Pat Rice is being mentioned as a potential replacement for Brendan. Personally would love it!
