All we can hope for is a draw.
Scrubs like Ramos,Khedira,Alonso and DMzema , defensive liabilities like Arbeloa and Marcelo, up against gods of football like Yaya, Kompany , Aguero, Balo, Tevez, and solid defenders like Zabaleta and Clichy?
Nah that sounds like a 3-0 at least in favor of City.

These players may be srcub atm but they will regain form ( except Arbeloa maybe )
It's 55-45 for Man city . On form you guys could beat them as Mancini always looks like a novice when he faces quality opponent. Bayern A' beat them last year...
But of course their players are hungry for success while yours are not only off form but even the starting line-up is not clear.

Well usually the lineup is Casillas, Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Khedira, Alonso, Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo and Benzema.
Khedira will usually start ahead of Lass.
I don't think depth will lower our chances of winning vs Man City.

i should have said '' starting line-up isn't clear atm ''
your starters have to play to regain form , ex : khedira : always looks like he needs a run of games to be at best .

Re: Real Madrid vs Manchester City
Mou is going to play Lass Alonso Khedira and Mancini is going to play Yaya Rodwell and De Jong.
I don't understand why you guys are so excited. It is going to be a borefest.

Re: Real Madrid vs Manchester City
Lass Alonso and Khedira?
He does not even do that against Barca agin, but he's gonna play the nightmare trivote against City
I hope we play the same team we played in Supercopa, they like to control games as well. except theyre slightly more vulnerable on the counter and easy to break up.

Re: Real Madrid vs Manchester City
its the group stage and it depends on what game we have after that trio could well be realistic if we have a tough team the next LaLiga game or if we have had a run of poor games and need to get our acts together

Re: Real Madrid vs Manchester City
Anyone wanna do a sig bet with me?
I can confidently say Madrid will win by quite a distance...
Imagine Ronaldo/Di Maria v Maicon... Wow.
And our midfield will show theirs a thing or two...
And Mario couldn't do sh*t against Sergio Ramos a few weeks ago... Do you think anything's changed since?

Also Sergio Ramos didn't know how to shot on target from 11 yards... And few weeks later in euro's he scored a panenka. Yes, things change.

Who is City, when measured against Real Madrid?

You're talking about a centre back taking a spot kick...tuddor wrote:teamanarchy wrote:Anyone wanna do a sig bet with me?

I'm talking about 90 minutes of football against the best defense in the champion's league last season. Not to mention that it's a record breaking side that was arguably Europe's best last year.
Re: Real Madrid vs Manchester City
But, I could be wrong... of course I could be...
I'm just confident that I won't be
I'm just confident that I won't be
