My theory is that some guys are just c*nts.
You're not getting nicer managers than Wenger and respect should be demanded at all times.
Nasri might have been half-known (sorry, it was mostly Arsenal exploiting the French market back then) during his teenage years, but it's bullshit to think any manager other than Wenger would have developed him so fast. Arsenal has suffered over the years due to risking youngsters in top level fooball, FFS.
developed him so fast? Nasri only had six good months in his last season with arsenal. Look im not saying that Wenger deserves no credit, but you guys are pushing it up a bit for me. Nasri was a star at Marseille after Ribery left, it was obvious he was going to be a quality player.
As for Nasri, it's a reaction of spite against Arsenal fans who have abused him for ever since he considered leaving. You cant say it's not true, it's not exactly like Arsenal fans let it go when he moved. So you can put the blame on everywhere, you are calling him a c*nt here, he is calling you losers in the press.
Considering after all that his return, I doubt he could have been half the player he was at another club. If Wenger couldn't make you into a GOAT player then you're destined to be mediocre, IMO.
He didn't come cheap, either, so it's not like one of those bargain Arsene buys.

Imagine all of this, and Arsenal fans still hate Cole. At least Cole is respectful.

Re: Nasri Mocks Arsenal Fans
Nasri is a great player, but thanks for the $25m
Also, he wasn't exactly a key players in City's title run, to say the least. Either way, congrats to him for the premiership title. I don't really like the way he was treated by some of our fans who went overboard.
I miss Clichy waaaaaaaaaaaaay more than Nasri or Buttcesc tbh.

I thank Man City for paying 3 times what Nasri is worth on last year of his contract.
Then why do so many of you keep talking about him?
Seriously...Most of you seem to deem him average, and it was a great piece of business for Arsenal as a club, yet there is so much bitterness all over the place - absolutely baffles me

Re: Nasri Mocks Arsenal Fans
While Nasri was known before he was signed at arsenal.. I highly doubt he'd be playing at Manchester City right now and winning a title if it wasn't for Arsenal. He probably would have just ended up somewhere else.
I can see trying to rub it in fans faces that really ate him alive when he bailed.. but how he is disrespecting Wenger like that is just completely uncalled for. Very ungrateful and classless
And not to mention that Man City would have still probably have won the title without him. It isn't like he was a totally instrumental player in their success or they couldn't have easily gotten someone to fill his role.

Everyone knows Arsenal fans don't give 2 shits about Nasri, but are still butthurt about Fabregas leaving.
Really, what difference would Nasri have made when Arsenal's problems were defensive and creative in nature.

Thats true. If Fabergas had stayed I don't think Arsenal fans would have made a big deal about Nasri leaving. It was only because Fabergas and him left at the same time that the Arsenal fans just went into rage modeSushi Master wrote:Because of other posters bringing up Arsenal's shitty performances all around. Re: Nasri Mocks Arsenal Fans
Arsenal fans were butthurt over Nasri leaving. They didnt treat it as a normal player leaving at all. They were all over him, abusing him in airport , following him in car ,tweeting abuses from the day one lol...why did Nasri get so much shet from the start itself if arsenal fans didnt care about him?
Re: Nasri Mocks Arsenal Fans
Yeah, I wonder why Arsenal fans hate himNa$ri upon joining City wrote:The [City] fans remind me of Marseille. Arsenal have good fans but they are not that passionate since they moved from Highbury to the Emirates.
'I remember when we lost 3-0 to City the crowd was amazing and that's what I want. I'm here to play football and to enjoy it and to win titles.
He's been talking shit from day 1.

Re: Nasri Mocks Arsenal Fans
So because a group of toothless idiot fans treated him like sh1t after he left, all Arsenal fans are to blame..
ButtCesc leaving was the biggest blow to the club, but it was understandable because he wanted to go back to his boyhood home and win with Barcelona. Can't fault Cesc at all, although we'd have preferred him to stay and LEAD like a captain, but you gotta respect his choice.
Nasri wanted an outlandish pay-raise that was totally unjustified based on his performances.. He overhyped himself way too much and I guess he saw greener($$$$$$$) pastures at City, not to mention the fact that Vieira was licking his ass the whole time, helping to lure him away as well. Nasri had also been talking sh1t about Arsenal the whole time, even before he had officially left.
You have to understand why some fans are pissed off at him. Not me, i'm happy with the 25m that the club got.
I miss Clichy 10x more than Nasri. I even miss him more so than buttCesc. I would gladly take Clichy back, and I wish him the best and am happy for him that he won the league.
3rd place finish for us, after losing these key players, having to rebuild, and going from 17th in the table at one point to 3rd finish.. hell yeah, i love this club. Can't be anything but optimistic about next season

The only reason Arsenal Fans started taking shots at him was in his First City Interview he took a dig at Arsenal Fans
Nasri, 24, said: "Arsenal have good fans but not that passionate since they moved from Highbury.
"City fans are really passionate. When we played against City, the crowd was amazing. That's what I want."
And you don't see Any Arsenal plays taking a dig at Clichy or Toure.... Both Ade and Nasri have one thing in common they don't know how to shut up and respect

Re: Nasri Mocks Arsenal Fans
Exactly... I mean when most players join new clubs, billionarie owned clubs or not, most of their first words are usually, "thanks to all the fans and the players for your support. I owe *insert manager here* a lot and he has taught me a lot. I wish you well... etc etc."
But the first thing he does is question the fans' passion and regularly mocks the clubs' achievements.
So I find it completely fair that some Arsenal fans show their true passion in screaming "you're a c*unt" at the top of their lungs.

Re: Nasri Mocks Arsenal Fans
^totally agree
Also, this part made me LOL
"If all that I was interested in was money, the easiest decision would have been to stay at Arsenal, picking up my money every week and walking into the team," he said.
"There are many people doing this right now at Arsenal."
Ironic words from mr. bench player. He went to City and is doing exactly that, except instead of "walking into the team" , he's "sitting on the team bench"

What about that is taking a dig at arsenal fans? Are they any better than city fans in any way? If nasri felt city fans were more passionate that doesn't mean hes taking a dig at arsenal fans...More like praising his new teams fans.
Everytime a player(not all) leaves arsenal they somehow turn into bad guys in the eyes of arsenal fans i mean even flamini who was relatively quiet got shit from fans who labelled him a merc and he did the same as nasri and won a title.

What is common between Flamini, Nasri, Ade....
all three of them had one or half a good season and they thought they were too good for arsenal and request alot more wages, and forced their way out.

Benchwarmer???
Nasri's minutes on the field last year: 2390
Nasri's minutes on the field this year: 2264
A tough choice, another 126 more minutes on the field or a winners medal
At some point you are just going to have to accept that he made the right choice and get over it.

Also, Doc meant that by calling City a big club he was insinuating that he left a small club to join a big club, which is crap because Arsenal are a big club.

City have a big squad, anyway.
Like at Madrid, when you sign for them, you have to accept that for the good of the squad, you might not play every game.
I mean, just look at Kaka. He would start for most teams.
