How highly do you rate Conte?

Took a team with barely any world class players (if any at all) and took them in an unbeaten run in his first season in charge of the club. Granted, Serie A is not what it used to be, but that's a pretty damn high achievement for anyone.

Iv rated him very highly after his first few matches. You could see how much the team meanr to him.

Surley the best young manager around?

Needs to show me his CL idea's before i get too a far of myself though..

Disagree, apart from their crappy front line, they have some world class players in other positions.

Phenomenal job this season, nothing short of best coach of the season.

To say he is one of the best in the world- it's too early. Only time can tell. But nobody should take away from what he did this season. Created everything out of nothing.

If we win the Coppa Italia, he literally won every possible trophy when we were expecting a 3rd-4th place finish!

I had 0 faith in him at the beginning of the season, i have admit. The run of disappointment with them was never ending, but the job he did is phenomenal.

Amazing achievement, and it means a lot to me as well as a part-time Juve fan. He has shown that he is tacitcally astute and a good motivator, although there have been blips. He has to prove himself in the CL, but he has the potential to be one of the best IMO.

Juves version of Pep. Lets see how good is he on big stages.

I'd argue that Chiellini, Buffon and Pirlo are world class
Then a handful of players performed as if they were (or are on the way to being so)- Vidal, Vucinic*, Marchisio*, Lichtsteiner

*Had some 'questionable' stretches of games

Anyways, extremely impressed with him. Tactically flexible, fantastic approach to the game mentally. The only complaint is that maybe he didn't get enough out of his strikers, particularly Matri who suffered the most, as Quagliarella was returning from a serious injury and Boriello didn't have much time to get going. Mainly disappointed in his use of Alex Del Piero.

Incredible job by him and Marotta.

As far as the world class comment, I didn't mean they didn't have any great players, only that barely any would walk into a 23 man squad (and that's nothing to be ashamed of, really) and probably only 1-3 guys are top 3 in their positions, if that much. But the definitions of world class vary from poster from poster, so let's just leave it at that.

He does have a world class midfield with Pirlo-Marchisio-Vidal...

But apart from that, yeah. He did very well considering the resources he's had. Like those strikers.

I'm really wanting to see how he matches up in the CL against the big boys.

Definitely has the balls for it and I can respect that.

Vidal and Marchisio are the 2 most complete midfielders in the world only after Schweinsteiger. Pirlo is probably the top playmaking midfielder only after Schweini and Xavi and arguably Alonso. Buffon is best keeper in the world only after Neuer and arguably Casillas. Chiellini is the best CB in the world in my opinion. Juve have one of the best midfields in the world and defensively are the best in the world. Juve have a good amount of world class players, ans are definitely a world class team overall. Conte put this team together and made this team so hardworking and work together so well though. Conte is without a doubt a world class coach himself and the coach of the season around the world in my opinion.

Conte is a great coach who is bring his philosophy to life & making it look easy when it's everything but...
Saying that Juve doesn't have world class player is wrong...
The players work extremely hard & give their all on the pitch ever match...
Juve just didn't have many big name players...
I can assure that this summer...teams will try to sign Chiellini, Marchisio,De Ceglie, Bonucci & Pepe...

I think he has the potential to be a world class coach. This year he brought up a Juve team who were not expected to be even close to first, to an unbeaten run and a Scudetto, final of the Coppa. But before he is considered world class, it will depend on how well he will do in the CL.

He may not have had WC players at the start, depending on your opinion, but thats irrelevant..he made them into, what may be, a world class team.

Its about what parts you have, its about how you fit them together. And he seems to have done a masterful job at that.

Their performances in the CL next year will give him the chance to enhance his rep too.

dedicated , passionate and knowledgeable manager but i need to see him for at least one more year and in CL games to be able to compare him to the current famous Managers around , but still his quality can not be underestimated

Obviously finishing the season unbeaten was a remarkable achievement but the fact that the League was won with only 81 points suggests the competition was mediocre at best this year.

A part of that is very true. You, however, fail to see how 'competitive' the league was post Calciopoli till now. Next time be fully informed before you try to take something off someone who's done a wonderful job.

Juventus will max hit 84 points this season (2011-2012)

And Juventus had their own struggles to deal with, coming off of two particularly miserable seasons, taking a significant amount of new signings and making a team out of it, it's not as easy as it sounds.

Using the point tally to undermine Juventus winning the league.

Wouldn't finishing with 81 points, likely to finish with 84, suggest that it was a very competitive season, thus proving that it was an even more amazing accomplishment?

I want to say he's shit so so so badly....but he's just.... not

He showed tremendous flexibility which is hugely important to me when rating managers, I cant stand guys that do the same old shit and expect different results, makes me want to crash my head in a wall
