Hatem Ben Arfa
A very very good player, he knows really how to dribble, getting past players regularly. Seems better then maria by far. Should we sign him, not too old (25).
Mou can convert him into a huge beast.

Re: Hatem Ben Arfa
lol i dont think so, first he wouldnt loose 70% of the balls that maria loose since he is already more adapted to right wing and doesnt get wrong footed everyfrekin time, second he seems to me better dribbler and has slightly better head then maria, means he wont just dribble into nowhere, we need wingers to know how to dribble effectively, players like neymar, thats how bayern outdone us. our strenght is suppose to be the wings. Ben arfa overall attacking play is way above maria, in a team like madrid, he will flurish even more.
I am 10000% sure he will be better fit then frekin di magia.

Re: Hatem Ben Arfa
Dude....his final ball and workrate is 1/4 of Di Marias.
And buying Ben Arfa based on his thinking capacity is pointless....he dosen't dribble into nowhere because in the PL there's always somewhere to go for those guys on the wings.
The defense is spaced differently.
Also he is about as inconsistent as they come.

kyle walker + hatem ben arfa on one wing
we should get reus instead, we should offer 80 mil imo for him, cant believe we're missing our chance

i know i know, but i think his style will also work in spain.

yes, he was playing as a classic left winger there, not a cutting inside ala robben/messi type which mou made him.
there is a big big difference, and we dont need a winger to just cross which maria does most of the time at that place.

First i already stated i wanted neymar at any price, he is the number one target, hazard and lucas are not, they are both right footed, means more to with wing then cross type if played on right side.
We need a cut inside type of wingers, wingers can go both ways but mainly have option to cut inside at ease, this will give them lots of options in attack, like bayern wingers do.

this is one of the reasons why i say that sometimes, it's not wise to talk about players that you never watch.
Any person who has taken time to watch enough of Lucas or Hazard would tell you that they are two footed monsters, same with Neymar.
I have seen them playing on the right wing repeatedly and cutting inside, with either foot. When you have enough pace and technique on the ball, you can cut in with your leading foot from either side. Regardless of where they are on pitch, they can go both ways.

Re: Hatem Ben Arfa
Yes their weak foot are good and all, but no way they are completely both footed, neymar is though, if even watch the highlights you can clearly see the him comming from the right side cutting inside with his left foot and placing a finish with his left foot, now thats two footed monster.
but i have never seen lucas nor hazard do that even in their match highlights, especailly lucas. hazard maybe, i dont remember though.
The point isnt that, yes its good they are boot footed, but i meant about nature consistent cutting inside like regular messi/robben run, that needs to be left footed.
Hazard has close bal control and good left foot, he can be effective at right side, but i want a player that regularly wrong foot the fullbacks with his cutting inside while have an option to go wide like ozil, i dont want robben clone.
lucas is more like little power winger type, a little bit worse control then hazard, but he is more powerfull and has more speed and messi like balance.
i rate lucas and hazard equally, both different styles can be equally effective, but for our type of tactics, we need neymar and a left footed neymar as wingers, some one who can cut inside, go wide, use tricks.
One of the reasons i wanted marcelo shifted to RW and tested there, cuz there arent many of these left footed cut inside wingers out there, there was this shaqiri but bayern got him, they will continue with the cut inside wing tactic since shaqiri is just 20.

Re: Hatem Ben Arfa
yeah, stop watching match highlights, watch the real thing lol.
frankly, whether a player can cut inside is not an argument for picking one player over another to me.
Technically able players can go either way with little trouble, regardless of the side. Maybe it's the image of a player cutting inside that you like, but cutting inside to do what? If the player is poor playing a final ball or shooting with range, he might as well keep running and putting a cross.
anyway, you are attracted by types, that's not how i look at players. Technique is more important, instincts, ability to respond in different situation, decision making, consistency. I wouldnt care if my player if right or left footed as long as he is intelligent and can respond to anything thrown at him.

Re: Hatem Ben Arfa
Yes, i do look at these stuff too lol, you think i just look at the type of the play and disregard their most important aspects.
Lets see di maria, poor technique (ball control) especially playing on right side, at least he can protect the ball on the left, horrible decsion making, consistency, passing (other then the 1 in 10 final cross/longball), terrible ability to resond in almost all teh places thus loosing possesion all the time.
i cant beleave people defend this dude, i would sell him for 10m asap, he is a cancer to our team. other then his workrate and final cross long ball he has nothing, he litterilly scew 60% of our attacks singly handedly. basically a healess chicken in attack, just like lass defence but more.
If you look at my obsession with neymar, its very much for the correct reasons, neymar has very nice technique (not fully developed first touch though), incridible attacking instincts and positioning, incridible response as he can dribble or pass his way out in trapped positions, very nice vision and team work, very good decision making (i beleave he will become even better as i see improvements all the time), great consisitency and overall very intelegent player.
Neymar is just beyond perfect winger for us, he is the type we should fight to the death to sign, people just keep perfering inferior players over him.
As for the cutting insde, basically cutting insde can make the fullback worng footed thus the cb usually follow the attack which disturbs the whole backline, the winger have alot more options to pass, even to overlapping fullback that he free cuz the defenders are follwoing the wing cutter, if he is a good shooter, that would be perfect too, but mainly it open tons of spaces are open and runs are made.
Usually on slow attacks these are one of the most dangerious way to score goals, usually ineasta and messi do this role for barca in their possesion system.
With those type of players we can score goals on slow buildups and on counters, we can have more possesion against strong teams because our wingers will have more options instead of getting trapped by defenders and forecd to cross.
As for watching full matches, its just isnt my style, i cant stand watching anything that is not related to madrid, even big derby matches in england or italy, international matches, yes if there is a madrid player i want to follow like ozil and benz, i force myself to watch, or a player i am deeply intrested in and club is following him. I just cant stand watching anything that is not related to madrid.
Nick, honesly, are my views and knowledge is so dull and insane like huntsman and co that are ignorible. Did u understand my views in this post about the type of attacking system that i want, a combination of dourtomont, bayern, germany and real madrid style all in one.
