John Guidetti
I still feel Bayern is lacking up front because of Gomez inability to hold the ball, bad first touch, missing clear cut chance and not being able to creat and pass the ball.
Bayern can do much more damage if we find that one missing link, we can maybe even have a player in our team who can score as many goals as C.Ronaldo and Messi, when you consider how many chances Ribery, Robben and Kroos creates for Gomez.
The perfect attacker that can complete this Bayern munich line-up is no other but Lewandowski and to some extent Tevez.
But then again when you look at Klose performance in Bayern and how Gomez out-played him, then you might be force to say maybe Gomez is just ideal man For out set up.
But nevertheless, I want a player that will compete with Gomez, and our realistic target is no other but Guidetti

Re: John Guidetti
Guidetti? You sure that ManCity would like to sell for a sensible price to Bayern again?

Yeah they will, they will spend big and will want to reduce the size of their payroll.
Expect to see at least 1 striker in City next season, plus Tevez is like Another signing.
Tevez
Aguero
Balo
Dzeko
there's not way they wouldn't want to get rid of Guidetti
Re: John Guidetti
Get rid of him, okay. My point was more the "at a sensible price to Bayern".

Getting rid of a player also implies that they sell him below his worth, even way way below his worth.
Re: John Guidetti
It depends on how many other clubs are interested in that player, too. More interested clubs = higher price.Idrisozet wrote:rwo power wrote:Get rid of him, okay. My point was more the "at a sensible price to Bayern".

Yeah I get you point, but Guidetti will mostly want to come to the best clubin the world..
Re: John Guidetti

Guidetti is most likely to get playing time in Bayern than in City.
Re: John Guidetti
what makes you think he is returning at City next year? are you so certain that City is not going to want to loan him to EPL clubs so that he gets acclimated to the league first? I would certainly do that to weight on my options when i have 2 players like Balotelli and Tevez who could be as good as gone at season end. Kid is obvious talent, selling him away is terrible business.

Re: John Guidetti
Fun fact: Jozy Altidore has more goals from open play in the Eredivisie than this guy.

City will most likely loan him to a midlevel EPL team next year to get playing time. The Kid wants playing time, once he arrives he will be the 4th or 3rd choice striker (if tevez and Edin Leave). He needs to show that he can do it in the EPL. Also Munich not the only club showing interest, Inter is interested.
If he doesn't get a chance after coming up from the youth system than there is no point .

Re: John Guidetti
how on earth will he be part of city's striking rotation?
balo, tevez, aguero, dzeko
thats 4 top draw strikers, most teams have 2-3
i dont see john guidetti getting a lick of playing time if he returns to city next season.

Re: John Guidetti
Hes already said he doesnt care to go to a big club where he will not be 1st choice. He wants to start more than anything. I say City get him back, loan him to a small EPL club for a season, and if he succeeds THEN he comes back and forms part of the rotation, as a 1st Backup maybe.

Re: John Guidetti
The best club for this guy is Bayern Munich. deny it as much as you like but it's the truth.
Him and Gomez will represent Bayern for a very long time.

Re: John Guidetti
Why you guys have the feeling that he wouldn't start if he moves to Bayern, currently our lack of depth cost bundesliga and if Guidetti arrives, he'll play a lot of matches in Munich.
He only have to challenge to Gomez, it's just going to be him and Gomez capable of playing as CF.

Re: John Guidetti
I hardly think City hasn't noticed how amazin Guidetti was this season.
Expect to pay the full price there.
Sending him to play in the Eredivisie for a year to grow etc. shows their intent to keep him.

Re: John Guidetti
Then City can keep him if they wish to...
There are many good player out there, but I just hope he doesn't end-up at City like Wright-Philips, stephen ireland, onuoha, Michael Johnson etc
Bayern are known for grooming youngstars to reach full potentials.
