CONCACAF will make their decision tomorrow onto whether they will let Mexico call-up 5 replacements for the 5 players who tested positive for Clembuterol.

everything seems to point to that these 5 players will be punished. They brought up the Sergio Mendoza trial where he was banned 1 year from playing futbol because he tested positive for a banned substance that was found in his cold sore ointment.

Those five Mexican players are selfish pricks, putting their own personal desires above any risk that they could cause their team. I doubt that CONCACAF lets them call up some reserves, not for a crime like this one.

Mexican Football Federation received the positive tests from a test done on May 21. The players are suspended from gold cup until the investigation is complete. CONCACAF is to meet Friday to decide if Mexico can replace the players or not. Apparently they believe that it was contaminated meat. FIFA and CONCACAF had not decided on any further sanctions. He said the Mexican Soccer Federation is waiting for word from both governing bodies to determine the future of the suspended players.

Costa Rica will have to field their best line-up available which will include Bryan Oviedo and Bryan Ruiz in the starting XI against Mexico, because for all we know, El Salvador can put 6 past Cuba and beat Los Ticos for 2nd place on Goal Differential.

Will be an interesting final group game, I'm also pretty sure Chepo doesn't want to lose to Costa Rica, add 5 players gona, they don't have much to work with on the bench.
