Where did you see those clear penalties please tell me. They were more like clear tackles.

And If he'd given a red card he would just cause drama so it was better without it. Last year Pepe was given a red card for a same tackle as Robben on Coentrao so you must give credit to him for being good and not letting players change his mind

For what? Slight contact with Müller legs isint worth a red. Besides he milked it.

Marcelo tackled in the 90 minutes with +2 injury time... Like it affected the game. Only thing it would have affected is that Coentrao would be forced to play next tie, which of course is great news for Bayern. But it hardly affected the game.

Oh I'm not hugely upset, I'm not a great fan of just sending players off, I just think that it was a very red-worthy challenge, and Ramos could have gotten a red, not necessarily deserved one, but could've gotten one. Coeantrao could'Ve gotten two yellows as well.

I don't want them to get sent off, but when we're talking in a thread praising Howard Webb, I must be allowed to point out that they probably should've been sent off.

(And because I'm quite fair, I also think that Bayerns 1st goal was offside)

Did decent, and you would be hard done to find any referee who can officiate a perfect game. Can't blame him for the offside goal, but he could have booked Ribery early on to set the tone on diving.

Does deserve kudos for giving Higgy a yellow for the card waving bullshit so common these days.

Now that I think of it, preemptive sending offs of em' both (and Pepe) would certainly kill off a lot of injury potential when teams play Madrid

Im pretty sure the Gomez one was penalty. Ramos clearly got the ball, But No idea why Coentrao seemed it was necessary to attack an unarmed man.

Marcelo and Ramos yellow cards could be argued for a red and you cannot deny that. Penalties were 30-70 in favor of no penalty so not going to bother raising awareness on that.
