I hope he doesn't plan on coming to the States to get any treatment.
Traitors get what they deserve.
I don't wish injury on anyone but I will make an exception in his case.
And yes, I will fully admit I am "butt hurt" so there's really no reason to point it out.
With Dempsey's form and the up and coming talent the US has... Rossi could have been the focal point of our offense. Could have made an incredible impact on US soccer, but no.... Decided to go play for Italy, who has plenty of world class attacking options.
Between that and our damn youth coaches not selecting Subotic.... huge facepalm
Yep and it's pretty much been a disaster for him ever since. If I remember correctly Italy didn't even bring him to the World Cup.
With him we would have an attacking trident of Dempsey, Donovan and Rossi with Altidore coming off the bench which he should be. Backed up be a decent midfield and defense and a great keeper. It just infuriates me that he lived here his whole life and then chose to go play for Italy when we need him desperatley and he is pretty much what we have been lacking.
Good for him, he can rot in Italy for all I care. It would probably one of the handful of times he's ever been there.
BTW, I'm not taking a shot at Italy in any way so I hope the Italy supporters don't take it that way.
Guys don't be so pissed at him. Growing up in the states doesn't mean being patriotic to the states. His heart was in Italy, his parents were Italian, he probably grew up rooting for Italy. If my kids are born in the states, trust me, they will be Argentina fans, no question.
Career wise, he should have played for the states...it really would have made him big.

Re: Rossi F*Cked again
US fans definitely shouldn't spare second thoughts to those notable two cases, if the pride you have for a metaphorical home supersedes the love you have for the nation you were raised in, than you're sure as hell not welcome to play for MY national team.
Best wishes to Rossi in his recovery process.
God bless America.
The Yanks are comin'.

Will be mad if Rossi doesn't recover.

It always starts with one injury tbf 2 serious injuries in a row is never a good sign.
The second is kind of related o the first. i mean no first injurie , no second . His come back was too soon

Bumped just so that I rub the fact that Rossi came back from injury and playing absolutely incredible now, in this guy's face
Disgusting to wish an injury on a player like that

Re: Rossi F*Cked again
It is indeed disappointing to see Mac resort to such hopes against Rossi's career, especially considering his reasoning against Rossi's decision doesn't make sense. I'm sure he'll repent.
As for Rossi, a man who has had 2 of his most crucial years cut-off from him due to Villarreal's 2nd rate medical staff, has been performing.....quite frankly amongst the best in Serie A.
He is doing it all-with or without Mario Gomez- creates plays with both feet, scores important goals in EL and Serie A and is just a handful of complete ability. How he has recovered in such mercurial fashion is a sight to be documented.
As Ali above stated, Italia's most in-form forward (Totti not a forward) and above Balotelli as a player at the moment.
Wonderful to see such a remarkable feat.
