We will have a job on our hands replacing him lol, but i feel he will sign a new contract......

We are going places and he loves it here the only teams i see coming in for him are Spurs and Chelsea and are they really miles better than us?

I agree Mole, he would have little reason to leave, unless you miss the CL and Spurs come knocking.

Even if we finish EL i reckon he will stay i dont see him being as short sighted as Enrique was he knows unlike these teams we have no debt......

I am sure Pardew is already the discussing the plans for next season and its not impossible to believe with a few quality additions and a full season using this 4-3-3 its not impossible to finish above these teams and maybe even win a trophy like Liverpool did......

I'd understand if PSG came in for him he would probably leave being a PSG fan and all.......

But i dont think he would leave for Chelsea and Spurs and I'd reckon they will go for someone more high profile anyway.

He should learn from Enrique and Carroll that the grass isnt always greener.

But anyway if we get europe of any kind i do expect him to stay.

Assuming Di Matteo remains at the helm next season, you can be rest assured that he won't be spending lavishly. We have some youth players that are just waiting for a chance to prove themselves. I know our youth will be given more chances if RDM gets the job.

Having said that, I don't think RDM will go forr Ben Arfa.(assuming that is who you're talking about)

nah, i think PSG is shooting for a Brand name, not sure Ba is one, even if he is at that level.

How much money do you have to spend?

It means alot considering how much we will get for those players obviously depending how much we have to spend to replace those players.......

I realise contracts dont do a lot in terms of keeping players but the longer the contract the bigger the price so its less likely will overspend on our players.

In this sense Ba is the only one who is not on a long term contract and therefore the only one who could leave for reasonably cheap.

Tiote, Krul, Santon, Coloccini, Taylor, Cabaye, Cisse, Ben Arfa etc etc etc all our long term contracts and will cost a kings ransom.

@ Barrett i completely agree the media linked you with practically half our team the other week lol.

@ Nick no idea but we have no debt and Pardew and Ashley have been quoted that the finances are in fantastic shape and the policy would be slightly tweaked if we qualify for europe.
