Okay Kjaer 100% deserves facepalm status, he's a terrible defender, Juan is quality and he'll be seriously missed in this game..

And I'm the only guy on here who called someone a bad player? (and it goes without saying when you call a player bad or terrible, it's meant to be relative to other defenders at his level, but some people are just ultra-defensive and insecure, I guess)

Re: Milan - AS Roma
How many killer passes has Lamela made that they make you think that he would play better as an AM? I've complained about his lack of end-product before but I don't think moving him further up the pitch is the solution. I think his best games for Roma have been when he has played as a left forward (as well as some of his best for River).
I'm not saying he doesn't have the quality to play there, I'm merely noting that his lack of end product goes for both assists and goals. The goals he has scored were very, very easy. Eventually, though, I can see him becoming an Iniesta-like sort of player. I just don't know if moving him now is the best decision.

Roma is my most respected club in Serie A and you guys are definitely not going to make it easy. Unfortunately we don't have Abate so you guys have the opportunity to expose us on that side. Good luck to you guys, really looking forward to this match

Kjaer used to be a beast when he was with Palermo a few seasons ago. What happened to him?

I'm not sure, I think he had a pretty tough time at Wolfsburg, he didn't like the club the league or the place and after that he really went downhill. It was a bad move.

Possession football he can't play in that tactics.
also I see him when pushing forward he is not doing best seems like he doesn't want that kind of thing

Re: Milan - AS Roma
As for the game. I don't have any major complaints. We were incredibly poor in the first half though. Just couldn't keep possession and were under siege from Milan constantly for that first 30 minutes. We played better after weathering that storm and the goal, while deserved, was quite surprising to me as we were still on the backfoot.
De Rossi, while at fault for the penalty, can't be faulted for having his arm up. Not something he would've been able to control so it was just unfortunate. To our credit, we didn't let our heads drop and as a result, we maintained some momentum, just lacked a real focal point in our attacks. Totti was quite poor today and obviously was not 100%. He was rightfully removed as well. I personally felt all of LE's subs, while risky, were quite inspired and positive. He made a real statement by not accepting merely a draw (as I felt Ranieri or Montella would've done) and went all out for the win. It was a gamble that ultimately proved too ambitious and so it failed, but it just sums up what this guy is about and if I wasn't a fanboy before, I surely am now.
In order to stay in the hunt for 3rd, we have to hope Lazio lose tomorrow. I can certainly see it happening.

Re: Milan - AS Roma
A very frustrating first half, we had our backs to the wall for the first 25 minutes and really struggled to put passes together. We grew in confidence at the end of that half and managed to grab a goal. I'm noing to criticize Enrique for his substitutions which I don't often do. He took Totti off way too early and I felt that Osvaldo and Marquinho should've been taken off at some point. The introduction of Pjanic and Lamela were absolutely necessary though.
Gago was our man of the match imo. Very solid game from him. Stek also did well as usual, putting in a number of crucial saves. I'm slowly gaining confidence in the Kjaer-Heinze partnership, I think they were quite unlucky.
Btw, not that I want to open a whole debate on the officiating, but there seemed to be a clear foul on Heinze right before Milan were awarded their penalty, hence why Heinze lost it when the referee pointed to the spot. I had a feeling Milan were going to break through eventually, but it just sucked that it had to happen that way.

Luis Enrique was right to take Totti off,he was one of the poorest players on the pitch imo, pains me to say it,but I wasn't very happy when he blew that great chance after Abbiati crappy clearance he should've put his foot through instead of trying to be cheeky, like what was he thinking ? the GK wasn't even of his line
