Milan - Roma
Antonini is unavailable , Mesbah most probably will play from the start. Abate is off too , so i can see us having troubles in the defence.
Here's hoping either Boateng or Nesta can make it for this game , we will need them . Roma may not be consistent but on their day , they can play great football . Also , they have 2 consecutive wins , Max better not make it easier for them and experiment with players this time..
Let's give Zambrotta a go at RB and oh-no ,Mesbah better maintain some defensive standar this time.
I am a bit of worried about the midfield battle. Seedorf had a fine game against Juventus , Max should trust him again this time. His control of rythm and possesion in the middle is something we will need against Roma .
Milan is favourites to win this game of course, though it's Roma . You can never be sure with Roma

I guess those are the situations where we say ugly 3 points still count as nice 3 points.

And if Nesta is ready, I would still love if he rested.

Re: Milan - Roma
Abbiati, Amelia, Bonera, Mesbah, Mexes, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta, Yepes, Ambrosini, Aquilani, Boateng, Carmona (55), Emanuelson, Gattuso, Muntari, Nocerino, Seedorf, Van Bommel, El Shaarawy, Ibrahimovic.
Called up squad. I don't know whether KPB or Nesta are 100% but they are called up. Boateng did participate in the full practice today
One thing I noticed is we are light on forwards, only 2 regulars available. Hopefully SES and Ibra can work together well

somebody said would be nice if mexes were to play as LB... if he can adapt... im so with that idea.
im tired of unreliable lbs ... its nice to imagine if mexes were to adapt that role.... we have the most strong defensive lineup

Re: Milan - Roma
roma is the club i have good respect for, also my good roma friends here in forum so i wish them good luck, i abstain from making any prediction not to be out of respect to my fellow roma friends here... but in heart i will be rooting for milan win we need this win, for championship and for good preparation against barcelona.
and i really love roma young talents like borini lamela bojan gago ... roma has focused so much in front they have weak back, hopefully they strengthen the back lineup next year and join us in championship fight.

Re: Milan - Roma
Mexes as a LB would be a nice trial, if it worked then we have that area secured, however we will have to forget about any attacking help from that side, since Mexes is very slow and I never saw him comfortable with the ball on his feet, but we will surely benefit defensively from that move.

Re: Milan - Roma
Silva just limped off the field
He underwent an individual warmup but Allegri decided to risk it. Right before Barca too. Awesome decision Max.

Re: Milan - Roma

Re: Milan - Roma
things are looking great,
we got no midfield, attack, or defense for barca tie.
thanks allegri for not resting any of out players.
and were losing 1-0 could potentially drop 3 points.

I am so frustrated right now, I don't even want to watch this! I don't even know what he is thinking! It looks like he already gave up on the CL already playing Silva today and vs. Juve! Ambrosini today is just god awful! It pains me to watch him play.

Re: Milan - Roma
With all these injuries, I say we just line up our net with players, covering every open space, and hope that Barca won't be able squeeze a ball through lol.

Re: Milan - Roma
Even with all our injuries we are still a lot better than Roma.
We are just incredibly unlucky this season with injuries.

We are incredibly unlucky today that Ibra is playing ... if he wasnt selfish we could've scored before that stupid mistake by ambrosini ...

Re: Milan - Roma
That is true, but we need to keep positive. The match isn't finished yet.
We need more creativity in the field.

Re: Milan - Roma
Seriously Ambrosini.
I hope we just expect and accept the worst scenario and that is we drop all three points, instead of pushing for a win and risk Boateng. I would say rest Ibra as well now.

Re: Milan - Roma
I highly doubt Allegri will do that. He was dumb enough to risk TS so he will be dumber to play Prince.baresi wrote:Seriously Ambrosini.
