My Career as A footballer

I met some of you yesterday. I am 14 and currently playing for my local team. I play as CB and sometimes am put as a DM. My coach at school always praises me as the best CB the school has produced in recent years.
He has put me into a Gifted and Talented group with other kids that have sportive abilities. He specifically choose us and told me that we will work on all our basics i.e Movement
My weakness is my speed as i am slow i am tall for my age around 1m 65cm and physically not so strong but i have aggressiveness so i can put off anyone larger than me.

I am not sure if this is the right plce to post this if not please tell me where (as it said sports so..)
My question is Do u know any things i can do to improve my speed?

Lol.. Speed is one of those things where you either have it or not.. Perhaps you could try weight training

Ok maybe I was a little too one sided with that answer.. You can improve sure, but if you are 'slow' you probably will never be fast but you can be faster than you are right now

i will take that over nothing

Lol wait you're 14? I'm tired as fxck and I misread it.. You will naturally get faster as you're body grows into your late teens.. There might be hope for you yet
