When you have Meireles on the bench I doubt Piazon will get much time. Especially if Essien regains fitness.

Surely no one was expecting him to break into the starting 11 immediately...

He still has a lot of things to work on. First Reserves, then loan deals somewhere...then we might see him in 2-3 seasons.

his primary role is as a striker who can play as a midfielder though ,similar to muller.

I can only see him having a future in the midfield, although he has played as a second striker. It's also probably the position most suited to him. Can you see him adapting to a 4-3-3? He'll probably be better off behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1 though.

Yeah but don't you think with his abilities he'll add more in a 'Kaka' role? Give him freedom to create, score, etc, right behind the striker.

he is nothing like kaka,as i said,hes a carbon copy of muller,a striker who can create chances for others too.Hes not fast at all.

If he's not fast then he won't make it to our wings. We don't play with second strikers who he's going to have to adapt a bit I guess.

The FA Youth Cup is also starting. We face Doncaster and we need to set up a date with them and play them before 18 December. That would be a good place to assess him.
