I believe many posters here hardly know about him Evil or Very Mad Its all too sad as I guess posters here consider he has no future at Arsenal.

Anyways, shall I post loan updates about our players loaned outside UK?Even I am tired of posting reports about non-existent rumours Very Happy

Since the players plying their trade in England,Carlos Vela and Wellington{Wellington esp. by DAM} are being covered by other posters,I shall TRY to post about Botelho,Bartley{since there are no updates about him as well},Galindo,Campbell and probably Denilson.

Any problems...?

P.S.:Posted this in the lobby so as to get instant replies.

There's no problem with this mate, just continue and report in the Loan Thread and we would be thankful for this. I would like reports especially for Denilson and Galindo (don't know where he even plays Embarassed ).

Arsenal’s summer spending depends on league finish, says Wenger

The Gunners currently sit in third place, four points ahead of Chelsea, five clear of Tottenham and Newcastle, and seven clear of Chelsea.

With five games remaining, a higher-than-fourth-place finish is looking more likely but the unpredictable nature of the top flight means nothing is set in stone yet.

Wenger told reporters: "We want to win the title. It depends how we finish to decide how many we need to buy.

"Our policy has not changed: to be ambitious and spend the money we have available in a wise way.

"We must maintain our momentum, and try to finish above last year's position."

Wenger is wary of Monday’s opponents, Wigan, who have beaten Liverpool, Stoke City and Manchester United in their last four matches, while giving Chelsea a run for their money.

“[Victor] Moses and [Franco] Di Santo are a threat,” the French coach observed of the Latics' front line.

“They are solid at the back, too. They are a well-balanced team.”

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has revealed that the highlight of his season so far was the 5-3 Premier League victory over London rivals Chelsea on October 29.

That win for the Gunners came at a time when they were putting a decent run together following their poor start to the season, which had included an 8-2 thrashing at the hands of Manchester United.

Walcott got on the scoresheet that day and the 23-year-old stressed the significance of the win for his side in a recent interview with TalkSPORT Magazine.

"The Chelsea game was a great step because we knew we had a very good run [at the time]," said the England forward.

"Going away from home and scoring that many goals, being involved in everything as well. It was great the way we worked together, it was like we had won the league actually at the end [of the match].

"Those are the moments that we want to happen again and it's definitely been happening in the last recent weeks."

Walcott has netted eight times for his side in the league so far this season, two of them coming in the 5-2 victory over Tottenham in February.

During that north London derby, the attacker was jeered by some Arsenal fans when his side found themselves 2-0 down early in the first half.

"Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and when you're 2-0 down at home there's going to be fans frustrated," Walcott opined.

"The manager had the belief in me to still put me out there [in the second half]. Like they say, form is temporary and class is permanent."

The former Southampton man also revealed why his team have been in such great form of late.

"We just believe that we can win every game we play," he stated.

"We trust each other, we are honest - I think that's the most important word, actually [honesty].

"A lot of players have come out of their shell, being more honest and I think that has helped the team, definitely."

Arsenal will be looking to strengthen their grip on third place in the league on Monday evening when relegation battlers Wigan travel to the Emirates following their midweek win over Manchester United.

A 10th win in 11 games for the Gunners could see them move eight points clear of Spurs.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has praised the professionalism of on-loan Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun.

Wenger has been impressed with Benayoun’s contribution and says the midfielder is coming back into his best form.

“He has been very patient and very professional,” Wenger told arsenal.com. “He came here with a lack of [playing time] and it took him a while to become really sharp. He kept working and waited for his place.

“We kept faith in him and put him in for big games because he is an intelligent and talented player. He has a good team attitude.

“The problem with Yossi was more physical because he is a guy who plays on his sharpness and quick movement. He had a big injury don't forget and it took him some time to come back.

“After that, when you do not play big games it takes you time to find the confidence again. Now he is there.”

It would be such a troll if that Troll-face gets the Golden boot ahead of RvP.

But none of us can complain about it if RvP doesn't start scoring again. He seems to have rediscovered his knack for narrow misses and woodwork. (Barring that cheeky cheeky penalty last week!)

Post by beatrixasdfghjk. Mon Apr 16, 2012 12:45 pm

Arsene Wenger has defended his decision to field Aaron Ramsey on the left side of midfield claiming the Welshman adds balance to the Arsenal line-up when a winger is deployed on the right.

Making clear that educating the young midfielder in a new position would aid his future development, the boss stressed that fielding the schemer on the wing was not likely to be a long-term state of affairs.

“I don’t think it is a long-term option for him because he is more a central player in the way I see him developing,” Wenger told Arsenal.com.

“Sometimes to balance the team, especially considering on the other side we have a real winger, I put a midfielder in there. That’s why in some games like at Everton I played him on the left. It worked then but at QPR we lost and it didn’t work.

“It is not linked with one position, it is to balance the team. I think in the education of a player it is important that he plays in different positions.”

Ramsey has come in for some very unfair criticism (predominantly via social media) in recent weeks, with his failure to convert chances against Everton, Manchester City and Wolves regularly highlighted. The player himself, has already spoken openly about a need to improve in and around the box, and the boss thinks it’s merely a case of relaxing.

“He always looks like he will score but doesn’t score at the moment. Once that will be done I think he will be more relaxed in front of goal and score more. He has played many games this year and for a first [full] season [at Arsenal] that is tremendous.”

Balancing a winger with a midfielder?
