What happened to Bojan?

I remember a couple of years ago when both him and Messi were starting, that people were comparing them seriously and not few said he was going to be better than Messi.

So, Why did his development stalled while Messi's went through the roof? Was he refused oportunities? Did they not trust him enough? or did he simply lacked the attitude to break in to the first regardless?

I really dont know so im not sure about this, but It looks like Barca just didnt give him any opportunities. In 08-09 when he didget a few opportunities, I think he looked very promising and if I was guardiola I would start him over pedro, but thats not the way its happenned and not the way its gonna happen any time soonitseems. Its the same case as giovinco at juve it seems.

2nd- Where is Bojan ? don't know.. he's going to Roma i think.. to start all over again.. anyway, still 20 years can prove us all wrong!!

Bojan is only 20, Messi is almost 24.
Bojan was injured last season,.He is the 4th best striker in barca after messi,villa, and pedro. He doesn't get much playing time. But when called up he doesn't offer much(he's not a tough work horse like pedro and messi). A few seasons loan will give him more experience.

He'll get his career back on track at Roma then come back to Barca, the kid is only 20 years old.

exactly...they are the simple truths most bojan lovers could n understand last 2 seasons.....
he is not physically as stronger as Messi and pedro are even considering his age. He looses ball too quickly and cant handle pressure from opponent defense. Most importantly he could not show his worth when got the playing time....

With loosing starting place even in national team, i think he better leave for a starting spot in Roma or any other.But tough time waiting ahead in Serie A for the little kid.

well chances are, he's going on a loan or with a buyback option, so don't get too emotionally attached

Give him a break, it's not like he's 30 he's only 20 while Messi is 24. He can be a huge star with Roma. But still, I always thought he was overhyped.

Maybe he has'nt used the same hormones Messi used. Or maybe he's just not as talented.

barcelona fans should actually apreciate the fact that everyone expects world class players coming from la masia.

you guys have the best football institution in the world imo.

Bojan was just overrated like a lot of young players.

he is 20 he has time ti improve himself.Maybe in another club or the best way is to go on loan without option to buy

I wanted him to stay in la liga though, but i guess Roma isn't all too bad.
