Yes, an admin is going to make another account to say Alves is the best rightback....good lord....like I care enough about this subject for such a thing.

I have seen Cafu alot, I was a religious watcher of Serie A in the 90's and have watched him do his thing in WC and Copa America's all the while.

He is more Maicon than Alves, Alves has a more diverse game and his passing ability is that of many attacking midfielders.

Ok anyways they are both great passers.

Also most might not agree but he is the best fullback I have ever seen.
Just a freak of nature.Technique,stamina,skill,talent,desire,heart all in one package.Also dont think there is a more competitive player in world football.

Agree with all 3 statements to be honest, he is too multidimensional compared to other fullbacks who while excellent, are all overlap and cross/pullback. As I said, he has passing is on another level from what I have seen. He often makes passes number 10's make.

His compeitive spirit I truely believe sets the tone for us in some games. His pressing, regardless of the score and regardless of the game stands out.

Played a great game in both attack and defense today. It's a shame that incident will overshadow his performance.

Put in great tackles, crosses, and had dealt a huge battle on the flank with Felipe.

Could've MOTM had he stayed on.

I dont see why Atletico players wanted a red, it was a standard yellow....overreaction, I dont see anything out of the oridinary with that incident...

Idiotic behaviour on both actions which lead to penalties. Stupid foul and even more stupid handball. Two assists though, but that two penalties are on his account.

Yeah, Alves does that sometimes, he is reckless and a hiperactive.

The 2nd was never a pen, never. The rule is INTENTIONAL handball, which is wasnt.

The first was borderline, I dont think it was a pen, but I sort of get why it was called. His mistake was trying to get around him, should of just let him cross with his left.
