Re: Napoli - Chelsea
is anyone else hearing the garbage that Gary Neville is talking on sky sports
its frigging painful
"Chelsea just need to play properly, this is not a great team that they are playing in Napoli, they could have 3,4 goals here"

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
Lavezzi, Cavani and to slightly a lesser extent Hamsik are tearing this team apart

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
Commentator's were awful. Well mainly Neville.
They really are so bias. Napoli always invite pressure on themselves and counter but Neville just takes shots at it.
He completely ignores the fact Lavezzi missed a wonderful chance but insists chelsea were unlucky and played just as good.
Every country will be bias but it's beyond a joke.

It should have been 4-1 :'(
Commentators for my country said it clearly wasn't a handball haha anyways I think if it was a handball all the Chelsea players would have argued with the ref but there was no protesting at all.Patrick Bateman wrote:dronte wrote:It was his shoulder/chest.Patrick Bateman wrote:ARMOFCAVANI

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
Napoli could have really scored more than 3 tonight... Chelsea was that terrible. and actually i thought some of their napoli players didnt even play at their best to beat Chelsea.
Had Chelsea faced Napoli of Mancity matchday Chelsea would have faced much cruel night.
as always Lavezzi, Cavani, Hamsik delivered. meanwhile i thought inler and gargano could have done a bit better but neverthelss solid without being spectacular.
real surprise for Napoli was Cannavaro, he is always so strong so assured in defense normally but he looked a bit lost at one point but got things right in later stage.
only good spark for Chelsea was mata, drogba and sturridge and Chelsea only played good in the 90th min
i dont think Chelsea playing at home will have any negative impact for Napoli,
Forza Serie A V^O^V

How poor did Chelsea play today though...they had the 4 defenders, 2 DMs, and they just couldnt handle the NApoli front 2...
Chelsea looks like going out and they have a lot of building to do...

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
Also I know I sound bias myself being a Juventus and obviously serie A fan but I will say the exact same thing WHEN a german or spanish team (other than Madrid - Barca) face off against an English team in the knockout stages which will probably happen next year.
You could have an English team beaten each leg over 5 legs and pundits like Neville would still have you believe that the English team were as good/better.
Then Kids grow up thinking ithey are right and a new wave of narrow minded fans are born.

:vagi: Well those 2 did play especially good, and troubled Chelsea's defense all over, thats my point, not saying the rest of Napoli didnt play well

Chelsea conceded 2 goals to Everton, the team with the third least goals in the EPL.
I think they are at high risk of conceding to Napoli

Which league plays long ball now? PL or Serie A? Oh the irony of the third goal...

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
Napoli is nothing special, their defence sucks big time. They are just lucky they faced a team in such bad form and defensively just as bad atm.
Lavezzi is a great player though.
Chelsea are definitely good enough to beat them 2-0 at the Bridge. Blitz them like how they did to Valencia.

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
Chelsea is crap this season so I'm not surprised Napoli win this game. They will most likely go on to win the tie. Chelsea really needs to overhaul their team if they want to win anything next year.

LMAO,is that you Gary ?
Chelsea having to attack will suit Napoli down to the ground in the 2nd leg, that's when Napoli play their best football.
I see a score draw,1-1.

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
Im loving how Premface EPL fans is... City and Spurs are the only two teams that should be feared in the champions league. Chelsea,Man U, and Arsenal simply do not have the squad or raw edge that those do. Man U hard churned out organized wins are useful in leagues not in CL games.

You are right in a sense, because if Chelsea have the same defence in a fortnight, there is no way they won't concede.
