Max Payne 3

I'm finding this game underwhelming so far.....I liked it at first, but now that I've played it more, I'm finding it boring.

The game is good, don't get me wrong, just underwhelming and at times boring.

I see what your saying, but what you call boring and repitive I call fun

Wanted to finish the story first,but i finally gave in.

I kind of suck tho

What's the multi like? I've heard the single is challenging so im stoked for that but how does the slow motion work into the gameplay?

That stupid game delayed the release of GTA , Hate Max Pain

18-5 in my first multiplayer match It was 3v3 (couldnt find enough players) and my last 3 kills all came right at the end of the match when I killed the entire team in the space of 15 seconds.

As for single player. Much more challenging than I originally thought. There are times when i'm not sure whether i'm meant to play conservatively or just go Rambo. Either way, very much enjoying this game. Happy to see GTA V delayed if I can play this right now.

Boring narrative, same stuff over and over...boring talking, shooting bad guys. Rinse and repeat. My disc is currently collecting dust, I still haven't completed the story mode.

AMAZING GAME!

I got this game like 2 months ago and played it for the first time like a week ago lol.. Played a little of the campaign, pretty fun so far

Yeah I ordered this yesterday, starting it next week when I'm done playing something else.

Outstanding game. Proof that games are reaching beyond hollywood standards. If Max was an actor he'd have an oscar. The writing, dialogue, direction of story and just the ambience of everything within it is top production value. I was left astounded by the congruence of the music cues, brilliant voice acting, art direction.

Did I mention the gameplay is excellent?

I'm prolly the only one who disliked it then. Might play it again to see if I can change my mind on it.

Idk what your definition of a good game is then, because this right here is an excellent game.

There's games i love and people hate and vice versa.

For example i think Fallout is shite, but clearly the majority disagree.

I did love Max Payne though, story was very enjoyable and the game play was brilliant.

Was glad to hear the other day that the gunplay in GTA V will be similar to Max Payne, another example of Rockstar learning from the past and putting it into their future.

Well you're right Mole. I think ALL FPS games are shoite except Battlefield 3 which I tried(and I'm shoite at it ) but clearly the majority don't think so.

3rd PS are my favourites. That's why almost any Rockstar game does the magic for me.

The gunplay in Max Payne is just amazing. Happy to hear GTA V will be like that. I think overall, Max Payne 3 blows the previous editions out of the water. Rockstar yet again earn my respect.

Seriously Fallout 3 bored me to death. I found the enviroment drab, gameplay slow and bland and it was not like I played little of it, did 50% of the main story and quite a few sidequests. I admit the story was good, and I was like "yeah gonna start liking it any time now, s**t's gonna get real right now..." I even started it again from new game, just did not like it. Thought that these type of Bethesda RPGs are just not for me and 3 years later spent hundreds of hours on Skyrim and enjoyed every second of it.

BTW finished Max Payne 3 twice, what Arq said. Amazing game.

I think I need to play it when I'm free and less tired. I used to play it when I came back from work and the added narration on the game used to bore the life outta me. I would lose focus on what the heck was going on cuz I was so tired.

Once I get it back from my bro, I'll pick up from where I left off in the single player.

Also love the fact that there are no load screens across the scenes.

Nah that post was based on Fallout 3, i felt if i didn't like Fallout 3 its highly unlikely i would like New Vegas so i never bothered to get it.

Finished this earlier..meh, overhyped. It's good, plays like an action movie. Gameplay was satisfying, but it really wasn't groundbreaking as I'd heard. It reminded me of Kane and Lynch 2 a great deal, I actually think that did the whole crime movie feel better. This is a better game though. Glad to hear that the new GTA will use the gunplay mechanics from this, they were great.
