Riquelme (Boca Juniors, ex-Barcelona): "In the way I see football, Messi always plays good. Argentina should learn to enjoy the best player in the world."
"Nowadays, most teams defend. Who still plays beautiful football? Barcelona and Arsenal are the exceptions"
"Iniesta impressed me from the start. Leo is the best but Andres is very close. And as a person he's even better than as a player"

Boca Juniors new boys hope for a flying start as Argentina Apertura kicks off
Cvitanich, Schavi and company prepare to try and lift Falcioni's Boca from mid-table mediocrity in the Apertura, as the Argentine Primera Division kicks off this weekend
Olimpo vs. Boca Juniors, Sunday 18:10 (22:10 BST)
The first week of the new campaign is always tricky to predict, as teams start from scratch following the close-season break and with a host of new faces yet to make themselves comfortable in their new home. Even so, as Boca prepare for a tough away clash at 2011's surprise package Olimpo, Xeneixe fans can be forgiven for feeling a certain amount of optimism for the coming season.
Ex-Ajax man Dario Cvitanich is the highest-profile of a host of winter signings, while former Penarol goalkeeper Sebastian Sosa, Newell warhorse Rolando Schiavi and Estudiantes gloveman Agustin Orion are fellow recruits to strengthen the club's sometimes shaky backline. In total four new faces join a band of returning loanees to swell the Boca ranks, while Juan Roman Riquelme is at full-fitness as he looks to minimise the absence of retired legend Martin Palermo in the final third.
Olimpo on the other hand have barely ended the celebrations since last June, when they downed Quilmes on the last day of the season to push River Plate in their ill-fated promocion clash with Belgrano. The bulk of the team remains in Bahia Blanca - including the virtuoso No. 10 Martin Rolle - and recruits such as Banfield's Ariel Rosada point to a team determined to keep their place amongst the cream of Argentine football.
Prediction:
Boca showed some sparkling moments on tour in Spain and England, but teams need time to gel and it remains to be seen how Cvitanich and Lucas Viatri can fill the San Martin-shaped hole in the Xeneixe attack. Olimpo are never easy opponents on their own patch, and a 1-1 draw looks eminently possible.

Is El Torero Awelazlin?!
Either way Riquelme has been kicking ass wehn fit recently. He's won the league for Boca, practically.
