redondo was such a weird player the ball just stuck to his foot haha he was a freak though

He is one of the best. Maybe not definitely THE best but he’s one of my favourite players of all time.

Lothar Mathaus although i have watched only few games of his when he played as a Libero in his last few years and some youtube videos too.

Matthaus is without a doubt the best. Then Davids is 2nd, and then 3rd through 5th is Gattuso, Vieira, and Makelele. Didnt watch much of Redondo admittedly.

The best destroyer is Makelele-no contest.
Redondo is more of a deep-lying playmaker with incredible defensive skills.
