Soldado vs Llorente

Soldado is having a incredible form now. Been amazing 2011

Soldado: 22 apps 16 goals
Llorente: 19 apps 7 goals

Soldado should start over Torres. There is no excuse for starting Torres over Soldado at his current form.

Soldado is the better player, don't even need to go into detail why.

Technically and physically LLorente is better than Soldado but Spain needs Soldado's poaching ability.

Llorente is the better player.

Soldado is a better specialist.

Llorente's above Soldado, IMO.

Soldado is Spain's best striker IMO

And certainly the best for Spain. They really don't need anything more at CF other than finishing becouse the creativity is already way ahead everyone else.

Llorente is still more then useful as a Plan B against certain teams

At the moment:

Soldado: 32 apps, 20 goals

Llorente: 33 apps, 21 goals

Difference between them is Soldado has been used as a sub 5 times yet LLorente 10 times.

So I'm failing to see how Soldado is so overwhelmingly a better goalscorer.

My personal opinion is Soldado is a more clinical finisher with better instincts

Yet LLorente is the better overall player with perfect use of both feet, solid creativity for his team, more technique and can create a goal out of nothing.

Plus LLorente had to deal with Bielsa's radical change in the system in which he repeatedly changed formations more than CR changes hairstyles along with Bilbao's poor early form and placing LLorente to restricted in a fixed
9 role. Thankfully, Biesla has placed him back into his deeper and more free to free to create role.

I love both players and want them both on the trip to Poland & Ukraine.
But LLorente takes it for me as he adds more for the team whether he scores or not

wanted to make this thread but realized , it does exist but its old and both have new clubs now , i wonder if the same thought or people have changed their minds
